272 km is a lot, I don't think I've done more than 120 in a day. I just got back today from a three day tour of the Chilterns, 135 miles over three days (50, 50, 35), though that included 8,000 feet of climbing which was loving lovely without a phone or music, ok not lovely but i wish I hadn't spiked my phone in the rain

sansa clips are good, i think the sport was a downgrade from the clip+ because you could install rockbox on the clip+ and it would play everything but sport is still a good buy. thanks.

I have an 80 GB iPod from like 10 years ago and amazingly the battery still holds a charge. I use it on road trips because I live in a part of the country with bad cell coverage. I put Rockbox on it almost immediately after I got it and never looked back; the stock interface was really nice, but the EQ was dumb and crippled and it just didn't sound very good. Anyway, that's my mp3 player story. Smoke weed and rip flacs erry day.

Lol if you're not throwing an old Rock-Ola under the squat rack and getting the light show while rocking to the oldies.

Seriously, I paid like $60 for a Motorola E which is a perfectly functional cellphone that I don't care about breaking. It's great, I can take it to the pool and listen to music without worrying about what would happen if I have to throw it at an annoying loving kid being obnoxious and it breaks.

You might also want to put a little bit of tape over the microSD card if you put one in because it doesn't have a cover, so just in case you accidentally click it out.

sandisk makes good mp3 players and made most of the models worth buying in the years in between mp3 players costing 400 dollars, apple controlling 90 percent of the market for no justifiable reason, and then cell phones replacing said devices i bought two and both still work, actually ended up saving some files when a hd died because i had it on a sandisk mp3 player from 2003 or some poo poo
