The thing I loved most about Median was the skill changes, screen filling axes, etc. I have played both Median and ES recently and I would say ES has a better crafting system but the end-game is easier. The ES classes are a lot closer to LoD classes, while the Median classes are mostly their own thing.

Median is more of a total conversion while ES is more of a content explosion. (use the new thread!)
