The weekend event is the new Pauper's Gauntlet where you can only use common cards. Sounds pretty fun. I still play the game every day and haven't gotten bored but there hasn't been much new to post about and it seems like Beth isn't doing much to support any kind of tournament scene. The devs have confirmed an expansion is in development, hopefully they'll release some more details soon.

So glad there's finally a thread for this (mostly) dead gay game! I tried making a battlemage deck based around random bullshit, because I felt like using Battlemage's Onslaught and Plunder. From there I added Arcane Enchanter because I'll be drawing lots of weapons. But I need to survive the early game so I added Firebolts, Rapid Shots, Harpies Wardcrafters and Skaven Pyromancers. Then I wanted to make sure I had guys to put weapons on, so I added Raiding parties. Also my deck was super low on guards, so since I have skavens and rapid shots, I added Breton Conjurors. And then, since I'm already doing the random weapon thing, I added Merric. And then I realized that I just made a lovely Merric Battlemage. So I took out the Plunders and added Atromancers. Making original decks is hard if you want them to be good.
