hello, this is a thread about Barry Windham and how great and cool he was at wrestling. Most people probably don't know this, but Barry was legitimately the best wrestler in the world from around 1986 to 1989. For a man his size he moved extremely smoothly and made everything look very easy. Sadly injuries took a toll on him and his knees gave out basically. Here are some cool matches for you to see just how great he was. He had a series of matches with Ric Flair that were very good. First Flair match from Battle Of The Belts II a co-promoted show by NWA/JCP and Eddie Graham's Championship Wrestling From Florida. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6y1eOh3PQM Second match: They devote an entire episode of Worldwide Wrestling to just this one match between Flair and Windham. At this point in time Eddie Gilbert is a face (imagine that) and he has been feuding with both Windham and Flair. He ends up challenging them to a tag-match with a secret partner that Eddie has signed up (at this point Flair is the world champ, Windham is the US champ and Eddie Gilbert is just a little guy) and they agree, figuring that they can beat whoever he brings along. i shared an extremely crowded elevator with barry, magnum ta, and tessa blanchard and was face to nip with windham the whole elevator ride. that is my barry windham story.

my favorite for a long time. When he turned on Luger and joined the horsemen was the happiest day of my life. recently learned his nephews are the fiend and some guy named bo who both wrestle.
