Strong stroll for a mangy stray

Lifespan posted:

From what I was reading he has good tackle skills and speed so is considered a run defense specialist.

Lines up with the value of their draft capital so that would make sense. It's a rare year when none of the NFCW did some wacky trade or picked an unknown right off the bat.

Even draft capital-agnostic, I'd still rate them that way. I think the 49ers reached big time on all three of their first picks. And while I liked the Rams getting Verse, not remotely a fan of the Fiske pick (ESPECIALLY given how much they gave up to him, they traded next year's second which pisses me off). I like Kinchens but really don't like Corum so that's kid of a wash.

Cardinals and Seahawks I feel like went way closer to taking the best player available. I might be overrating the Seahawks, I loved the Byron Murhpy pick but actually have no idea who anyone else is. Cardinals obviously I just love Harrison, Benson and Reiman. Benson was the best running back in the draft so to get him after so many other ones were taken is a major score.

Oh snap, not only were the Seahawks the one NFCW team that didn't get an RB, the LB they selected is a run defender. This is awkward...

I'm underwhelmed by day 3 picks for the hawks specifically the corners of the bad Auburn team. Didnt feel like a BPA 3rd day. Guess I thought safety was a bigger need than the corner that gave up 4th and 30 to Bama

Would have liked a shot at a qb but I guess they can still sign Pratt as an UDFA.

Loved the first two picks tho

I generally agree.

I loved Seattle’s picks in the first and third round.

I am “meh” to on both fourth round picks. They both seemed like reaches but also the fourth round is where it gets blurry and messy, so I’m not that upset.

I do not care about the fifth round and below. These picks, across the league, have a significantly low hit rate. Even though Seattle has had some great late rounders like Sherman, Kam, and Woolen, I operate on the assumption that (outside of special teamers and RBs) none will make a final roster. Maybe there will be a pleasant surprise!

Overall, good draft from Seattle :)
