It worked in Safari for me but would only play once, and then I got a dialogue box that asked me if I wanted to continue watching, and every time I clicked yes it popped back up again until I got creeped out and closed the window. I did get some tiny amount of inhuman satisfaction from watching, though. I see people do this kind of thing all the time and it terrifies me. If everyone who refused to stop adequately or at all for a red light or stop sign was crushed by a truck, it would really put me at ease.

I guess it was pretty stupid, but it was fairly coordinated and there were literally no people on that road. In fact he says that he slowed down because there was someone in front of him. If people are going to do stupid poo poo like 200 down a highway (which they will), then I prefer that they do it with as little risk to other drivers as possible. Frankly I'm little less concerned about a guy going balls out down a empty highway, then idiots weaving in out of traffic at 100 mph. Also this guy appears to be running up to as fast as he can get it and slowing right back down. Instead of just flying around at 200 mph until he runs out of gas.

That's true, but I still think it's not safe at all. People are going to try to max out their cars. Not much we can do about it. But, if someone merged onto the freeway, and moved over toward the fast lane, that guy would come up really fast at 200mph. I watched someone try to do a fast lane change at 100 and the distance that passed in that ammount of time was significant. Provided they are traveling 65 see a long gap in the rear view, then pull out in the middle of this guys path. Check rear view mirror and this guy is now right on their rear end. Moving out of the way of that would be hard. I can't imagine having to dodge a car that pulls out in front of you at 165 miles an hour. I am not argueing the fact that this guy is a douche or not, because if I owned one, I would consider doing the same thing. I am just pointing out the risk of doing this.

On a clear night you can see tail lights from several miles away, and it would take a mere 1/4 mile or so to drop from 200mph to 60mph. The person would have to be driving basically straight across the freeway for him to not have time to slow and avoid. This was dangerous and stupid, but he wasn't really risking anyones life but his and his passenger.
