So, the Tome of Transcendent Olfaction actually grants a HP skill and doesn't have anything to do with that Mystical Bookshelf bullshit? Or can you only use it once per day, like other Tomes?

Don't look now guys but they've put up ultra-rares as prizes in the raffle house  Yesterday's second prize (3 lots) was a Hockey Stick of Furious Angry Rage. Granted, speed runs have been done without them, but the mere fact they're up as a prize opens the door to other ultra-rares as prizes.

Since last year had the frozen flame in January and the candy hearts book in February, and the year before had the snowtome in Feb and the iceberglet in January, it stands to reason there will be another transforming item as next month's IotM.

Wee! Just got the Order of the Silver Wossname after completing the Mysterious Island quest. That was a nice burn of a few days' turns. Also, as a discobandit, is there a better weapon than my epic Shagadelic Disco Banjo? I've got a bunch of other weapons but the Moxie multiplyer looks pretty hard to beat. I do have a chrome crossbow I equip during rollover.

So I freed the king on my softcore alt, and I'm not sure if I should ascend or get some other stuff done first (tattoos, trophies, bounty hunting, etc.). Would it be better to wait until I have some more skills to do all the extra stuff?

In terms of damage potential, the Star Crossbow is decent because it works with the passive crossbow damage skill DBs can get. Happiness is a good one handed ranged weapon as well.

While we're on 1-handed stuff the Clockwork crossbow isn't bad at all either. The fun never ends if you've got DFSS, allthough fever doesn't apply to the offhand one which is a shame.

Does anyone know how to get the polka-dot bow tie to complete the "terrifying clown suit"? I've burned up a crapton of adventures in the fun house with weapons/accessories that are supposed to help item drops from monsters. I've zapped different parts of the outfit with a wand hoping that they will turn into the bowtie, but it didn't work. I've searched the flea market and the mall. Do you have to make it yourself?
