The editing was amazing. I wish I knew how to make GIFs from videos because there were some awesome moments in that video. My favorite is when she is being released from prison and does the OK hand gesture and smile then does the little dance as she walks out of the room.

The whole prison scene reminded me of Michael Jackson in Bad, which is a great thing. She was definitely paying an homage to him there. She looked so loving awesome. When I watched it the first time, I was a little overwhelmed to the point I felt underwhelmed with the whole thing, then I watched it again.....and again....and every time I pick up new details that make me go holy poo poo. Loved it. I need some more time to absorb it all. Echoing the comments that her dancing is way better and the editing is great. And I also kind of wish there was a different way to not have the song interrupted all the time, but this complaint is minor. I couldn't find anything in the TV listings for E! showing in Canada so I waited for it on youtube. Then I found that E! has a little clip of Gaga talking about the video, which I assume was shown on TV. The more I think about this video the more I love it. 9 and a half minutes of distilled hilarious. There's a pretty obvious jab at Americana too. Tons of obvious and blatant product placement, poisonous/lovely/greasy diner food and dancing around in American flag bikinis. God Bless America

The funniest thing to me is watching people freak out about product placement in a loving lady gaga video. Did they not watch paparazzi where she flashed giant DIOR rings, where she wore pretty much every famous designers clothing, flashed chanel, D&G, on and on.... or bad romance and a giant segment of her in alexander mcqueen? I think the only reason people care now is because it's with brands people actually know about or identify with which is hilarious because it's obviously done on purpose and having miracle whip product placement in a music video is amazing.

Gaga keeps talking about how much of her own money she pours into her videos, wardrobe and concert designs. I mean, midway through her current tour, she ditched everything and started from scratch. And now we have a fish monster. I'll gladly take the mass product placement if they helped her make the video what it is. You can see it as her selling out on her art or you can see it as her selling out in order to achieve her art.

Goddamn great vid, although I still liked Bad Romance better. It had more of that glam sci-fi feel that drew me to her in the first place, plus I thought the dancing was a lot more interesting. However I loved the narrative of this one, and he taped up boobies. e: also the dude talkin into bread like a phone.

I much prefer the theory of Alejandro being the sequel to Telephone, but I'm not entirely sure how they intend work "Honey B" into the picture if she's not involved in the song itself, unless they're slated to work together again in the (not as soon as we'd like) future.
