Oh, why not. I've been making these odd DJ sets for a while in my bedroom (where the crowd always goes wild) and figured I'd post one here. The "Snoop Dogg Beats" thing goes on for too long, I know, but I didn't feel like going back and editing. Done in Ableton Live, with one turntable. Download: http://www.sendspace.com/file/t0qpxs Or Stream: http://i.mixcloud.com/CD1q2 I have trouble remembering what goes into these, I don't keep setlists, so this was reconstructed from cryptic filenames and best guesses. 18 tracks (plus a few not listed), just shy of a half hour. And two more mixes from me. The first one is all drum'n'bass, from a radio/podcast I played last Friday. The second one, um, it's everything I like in one live set, recorded at a warehouse party in DC on October 1st. So I guess it's dnb in to dubstep in to a lot of other stuff. At one point I played some Roska stuff, Klute called me gay and then asked me to play some MJ Cole, specifically "Thekla Riddim". Fun set, fun party. Also, apologies for me using the auto-loop roll a little too much...

Welp, I gone and made a Dub Step mix (holds up fist in hopes for a fist-bump from dantheman650). I did it for a friend, but ended up really enjoying it by the end. I've been peeking at this thread for a several months and haven't shared any of my mixes. Why? I'm an idiot that's why. Well no more. I just upload two new sets and offer them to you now. Live(ish) at the Clarke Building http://soundcloud.com/djwanab/10-14-10-throwdown-the-clarke-building This is a re-rendering of a set I played last week for one of our local university's student association fund-raisers. This set begins with some hip-hop-inspired breaks then moves into electro and dubstep territory. 01) Colombo & Kultur - Muzik (Original Mix) 02) Deekline & Wizzard - Ready For Your Love (Keith MacKenzie & DJ Fixx Remix) 03) Future Funk Squad - Bring This On (Curtis B Dub) 04) Dogtown Clash - Hole in My Head (Nils Jumpen Remix) 05) Stonewash - Ain't Nothing Like (Original Mix) 06) Hacksaw - Uber (Krafty Kuts vs Decibel Remix) 07) Wolfgang Gartner - Undertaker (Original Mix) 08) Alex Kidd (USA) - Unholy Grail (Alex Kidd Bloody Remix) 09) Freestylers - Cracks (Ctrl Z Remix) 10) Pendulum - The Island Pt. Now I'm always way more uptempo and jammin than the very same dudes. Funny world.
