Merijn posted:I think we could attract more listeners if we just tone down on adding songs that are both horrible/annoying AND long. And I don't mean 10min Bob Pokosy. Yesterday a mod added (or approved an add) for a 26-minute song that was just static noise. Really, this is what keeps me from listening all the time. There's only so much in the way of 9 minute purely noise tracks I can put up with before I start adding bubblegum pop or wander off.

What I love about this station, since I first listened in 2005 is that it has introduced me to so many new decent bands, not to mention horrible noise tracks that I used to use as retaliation against my eold neighbours, who played Garage and RnB 24/7. A bit of Costes and The Human Lobster soon taught them. However reading this thread has taught me to be a better person, so I'll go easy on the obnoxious adding from now on.

I tend to stick to tracks I genuinely like out of selfish reasons.

what I don't get is, theres a forum at g2 and all these posts (about the station!!!) could go inside of it, but instead it gets used like, once per week to announce a movie is happening.
