Pretty funny video of Jericho & Miz (featuring Maryse) being prodded by the worst paparazzi ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9FtZDHJiZQ

That video is bizarre. Subjects include: * The two of them having a dance off * Manicures being better than sex * Jericho screaming like a girl at the though of Zach Efron being near * Both of them scolding someone who calls the championship 'a belt'

Zack was sitting in a roped-off area that was normally only for people who had bought the higher-priced VIP Axxess tickets to meet the upper-card guys like Orton, Miz, and HBK. So I'm assuming he just sat there before the real guy showed up.

During the Monday Night Wars, BBC documentary maker Louis Theroux spent several weeks in the company of WCW and indy wrestlers. The documentary he put out was mind blowing when I saw it as a school kid, and still really holds up entertainment wise today. I've always hated Sgt Craig Pitman as a result of this. The parts in order. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irV7JoPrZ7M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_UNHYnj9QM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fjXNuw8NlI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjiTc1-uYjo

Everyone should watch all of Louis' shows. He's awesomely entertaining, especially when he gets down to weird American subcultures like wrestling and demolition derby.

So I got around to watching the new Z Long Island Story. Got to the part with the girl at the WM merch booth who said the Woo Woo Woo shirt was all sold out. Thought her shirt said ANALLY for a second. They really need to work on the font for the Rock's new merch.

The host having no idea what wrestling is about makes it so much better than someone who is well versed in the subject. His dry brand of humor somehow makes the people around him even more ridiculous.

Theroux's entire style is pretending ignorance and being dumb to lull people into revealing more about themselves. Which is why his more recent stuff has been a bit rubbish since people know who he is and what he does now.

Those who follow the GBS documentary thread wll recognize him from the Westboro Baptist Church series (first in 2007 and a new series released last week) titled "Americas Most Hated Family." It's worth your time to watch.

After seeing that, I think they should have him work an angle with Piper. Doesn't even have to be too serious. Just have Ryder mad about him ruining his "Big Wrestlemania Moment". I think those two could have good chemistry, plus it could give Zack some good experience with a great promo guy

Tsukushi vs. Tsukasa Fujimoto - IW19 Title http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5cMc8jPDZ0 It's a fun, if kind of sloppy, little match although it's about the best you'll get considering Tsukushi's a 13-year-old girl with about a year of experience. Fujimoto heels it up in that she seems to get a kick out of beating up a kid and Emi Sakura completely loses her poo poo on commentary when Tsukushi manages a successful dragon suplex; also Gentaro is one of the other commentators. Anyway, a little background I guess. 19 Pro is a sub-brand of Ice Ribbon that exclusively airs their shows live on ustream a few times a week at 7 PM JST (hence the name); they usually keep each show up for a short time after it airs as well although they're not archived. Anyway this was the finals of a small four person tournament to crown the innagural Internet Wrestling 19 champion. This was 19 Pro's first show back after the earthquake so all four participants (Tsukushi, Fujimoto, Mika Iida and Mochi Miyagi) were from areas most affected by it. The title has a couple rules as well: all matches will have a 19 minute time limit and in case of a draw the champ retains, the champion can choose who they want the challenger to be and when/where the match will take place and any match for the title will be streamed on 19 Pro's official ustream channel. Tsukushi chose Emi Sakura as her first challenger and the match is going to be taking place Sunday at 2 PM JST or about 1 AM EST. So if you feel like watching something at one in the morning on a sunday, well here you go. http://19pro.ne07.jp/ gently caress that was a lot of words for a dumb, short match.

Japan is reaching the point where every wrestling match takes place in its own separate promotion.

"Sober" Scott Hall showed up HAMMERED to a show the other night. Thankfully, the company who hired him had no qualms about putting video up showing what a jerk this guy is. http://www.masslive.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2011/04/wrestler_scott_hall_hospitaliz.html Do what you wanna do to yourself, but don't get in the ring if you're that hosed up.
