Back in the original GBSFM there was a weekend DJ that did shows of 8 bit video game music. Does anyone remember who that was and whether those shows exist anywhere on the net? Those were amazing shows.

Not sure, but on GhettoRadio Doctor Fatty seems to have taken up the 8-bit mantle. Website is down at the moment though!

Edit: Station is back up, BTW.

And Ghettos domain expiring is what brought us down too - a timeout caused by us not being able to get their listener count.

But its fixed now!

I miss the sound of dot matrix printers. They're really loud, but damnit, it's the eternal sound of printing.

I always look at what's queued at the bottom of the list before picking a dong, and often I'll do a search to see what would "match". It is fun everyone should do it.

Looking for an antonym for "conformist" I found "recusant". Now I'm going to use that word every single day starting today.

The IRC channel should be working again, after what I take was a DDOS of the IRC server. The actual https://gbs.fm site and stream are just fine.

You know where you are? You're in the suburbs, baby. You're gonna drive.

It was a DDOS, took down 2 of the three nodes, killed services and we couldn't keep thing acceptable on the 3rd node, so Hardchats invited buttesnet over.

We've had issues like this before - all we can surmise is that it's some geographical issue with the connection from Sweden.

You rang up your tech support and get an honest and in-depth explanation? Here I'd just be told to reinstall my network card and let them know if that didn't work...
