Badcraziness posted:Back in the original GBSFM there was a weekend DJ that did shows of 8 bit video game music. Does anyone remember who that was and whether those shows exist anywhere on the net? Those were amazing shows. Not sure, but on GhettoRadio Doctor Fatty seems to have taken up the 8-bit mantle. Website is down at the moment though! Edit: Station is back up, BTW.

And Ghettos domain expiring is what brought us down too - a timeout caused by us not being able to get their listener count. But its fixed now!

10 minutes to Zero-G on Ghetto. On Tap - ABC, Psychedelic Furs, Modern English (not THAT song though), Gun Club, The Damned. Why go out to hear crappy DJs, when you can hear one at home! http://ghettoradio.us:8209/listen.pls

I love it when stuff like this happens just totally spontaneously: I always look at what's queued at the bottom of the list before picking a dong, and often I'll do a search to see what would "match". It is fun everyone should do it.

I also like when song titles do a little story, but its much rarer.

The IRC channel should be working again, after what I take was a DDOS of the IRC server. The actual https://gbs.fm site and stream are just fine.

It was a DDOS, took down 2 of the three nodes, killed services and we couldn't keep thing acceptable on the 3rd node, so Hardchats invited buttesnet over.

It really is the end of the world if I remember to post this earlier than 5 minutes before my show. The last Zero-G before you all ascend and leave me behind, tonight at 7 central/8 eastern. Should have some appropriate goodies to play. Only on Ghetto. Click this to listen http://ghettoradio.us:8209/listen.pls

Apparently my ISP has a 2GBit connection that's shared between all customers in my town, and it has a tendency to get clogged. There is a 10GBit connection ordered, so that should take care of that...

Here I'd just be told to reinstall my network card and let them know if that didn't work...
