Admittedly I just discovered Saafir's Boxcar Sessions the other day and I can't believe I'd never heard of this dude before. Anyone else have some hot fire recommendations along the same style?

Well in terms of total number of samples "think (about it)" by lyn collins easily takes the cake, if youre restricting it to just hip hop then its probably funky drummer, sing a simple song, or impeach the president.

Haven't gotten around to the MMG album yet but I think Wale's best work came from "More About Nothing". His debut had only a handful of songs that made me want to listen but M.A.N. was really solid.

Wouldn't it have to be "Amen Brother" if you're going by total samples from any genre? I didn't really like More About Nothing, he sounded off or something. Might have to check it again but I wasn't digging it on first listen.

As far as lyrics, "Number Won(One)" and the last verse on "The Power" sold me(especially if you're a sports fan).

here is an experiment my friends and i did last night where we gave ourselves 30 minute time limit to make 'songs' of some variety with nothing pre-written and no pre-writen beats we also made the rule that we had to drink at least one beer per song and if you got all whiny and wanted to punch something in you had to do two shots, so the basic idea was that you would get to gradually hear the music-making quality of some people gradually decline over time unfortunately we got WAY drunker then the plan entailed so the entire mix is like an EP MIX it's like 9 minutes long also the "BULLDOG SWAG" beat is cheating; i made that a long time ago but i think we were like two fifths of vodka and a case of PBR deep between us at that point and i couldn't even remember how to turn on the MPC also its pretty rad how bad i am at freestyling when i get drunk. most of these songs hit the 25-minute mark by the time vocals rolled around so i had to do a lot of really bad off-the-dome poo poo on here, i think only one track has actual written rhymes Satellite High and Warren Macey present The Progressively Inebriated Music Club Vol. 1 anyways, enjoy, it's a weird project
