Back when Savage died, I mentioned a fantastic Savage promo leading up to Wrestlemania X. Bearnt! was able to find an abridged version of it, which was cool, but things wouldn't be right until we got the full promo. Luckily, he finally uncovered it. The backstory: Savage and Crush have a match coming up at Wrestlemania based on Crush turning on Savage and befriending Yokozuna. Savage had a title match against Yokozuna and was about to finish him off with the elbow, only to have Crush interfere and gently caress it up for him. The two have been so red hot towards each other that Jack Tunney has banned the two from being in the locker room at the same time. Here is Savage's take on the situation. Two subtle things that rule about this: 1) The way Vince tries not to make eye contact at one point and Savage jerks his neck to make sure Vince is looking him dead in the eye. 2) The possible reference to Hogan and the Mega Powers Exploding.

Found this while trying to find Severn's match in the Brawl for All. I take it its from the Australian airing of Superstars (which I thought had been replaced by Jakked or Metal or whatever by that time, but I guess it was like how NXT still airs on TV in certain international markets due to the contracts). But it's so odd to see Attitude Era footage with Gorilla Monsoon commentating (who was still, apparently, the "President" of the WWF for some time after McMahon became the on-air owner). Dan Severn vs. some jobber from WWF Superstars in 1998
