Well it'd make 8 of them obviously since you'd put 8 stone in

Are there any workarounds for the smp exp-orb issue? I may have been responsible for killing our test server when a creeper blew me up. Thankfully, it's just a test server and not the main one, but it still seems like a pretty big deal. Is there a way to flat-out disable exp? Would deleting that chunk fix things, or do we have to reset the world again? edit - I mean, "dont die ever" isn't really a viable fix for this issue. Are you still running on an old version? I thought that bug was fixed. It stopped being a problem on my server when I updated, at least.

Did the server version get updated or just the single player version? The bug still exists on my server, the only workaround is to keep a lava pit with a chest next to it for dumping all your items and killing yourself every now and then. I'd love to just be able to disable it entirely.

That's what we did on my server as well, but it was only necessary during the prerelease, it was fixed in the official release of the server .jar.

A Sassy Dog posted:Does anyone else have problems with Endermen? Not like, 'drat those guys gently caress my poo poo up so much!' Rather, Endermen are never hostile? Just my opinion and all, but I like them a lot better as passive-but-kill-you-if-attacked mobs like Zombie Pigmen. The idea of them chasing after you if you jut look at them is kind of cheesy and probably a better fit for a mod than the actual game. Being 9 foot 10 and bumbling around grabbing blocks is already cool enough. Though they do tend to make unlit forest areas near your home base or town look silly with all the missing tree trunks after a while.

Just came back from a brief nighttime spelunking to find this huge hole in my house. I am playing on peaceful. What the gently caress happened? e: For clarity: this is from a village on the Something Awful seed, there's supposed to be a wall in the middle of the picture, left of the entrance. Also, a window pane is missing in the leftmost window. Seizureman fucked around with this message at 16:13 on Sep 19, 2011 |

I just went back to that house to find the last wood block of a nearby tree burning up. It seems the forge is the culprit. Wasn't fire reined in a bit to keep forest fires from getting out of hand? That would explain why the damage was so limited.

I think it was 1.6 where fire was changed so that it couldn't spread infinitely. Although it was more like making it so that spreading infinitely would require a whole lot of luck.

I am wholeheartedly in favour of that idea, because every time I build a castle the crenellations end up looking incredibly stupid. It would also make a good fence alternative for players experiencing a wood shortage.

I have wanted iron fences forever to better match solid stone constructions. No changes. Just another fence, similar to the half blocks and stairs. Cobble, stone brick, or smooth stone walls would be great too.

The feature I always wanted that probably will never make it in is a 'alternate' key. A key that makes blocks do different things, like placing a alt'd stair/half block would have it be upside down, or most other blocks would be turned. (So logs are running horizontally rather then vertically.) So many pretty things could be made.

Endermen continue to delight and vex me. I built a lovely wall around my castle, and was patrolling the perimeter one night when a skeleton somehow deadeyed me in the back of the neck with an arrow. One single stone missing from my wall, found the next morning delicately placed next to a tree. Endermen.

OpenGL fix for OS X 10.5.x. I think I saw someone asking about this problem earlier. I don't have a Mac, so I don't know if it works. It looks like someone wrote a detailed explanation of hunger on the wiki. This should clear up some of the confusion. The biggest detail is "food saturation" which is an invisible variable raised by food that is depleted before the visible food level. This is why the meter seems to tick down more slowly from full. If both the food level and the food saturation level are full than it takes the same amount of activity to lose the first half a point as it does to lose all the points. Different foods increase the food saturation level different amounts. Cooked pork, steaks, and mushroom stew all restore 4 hams. Pork and steak both add 12.8 to your FSL, but mushroom stew only adds 9.6.

They don't seem to drop whatever block they are holding though which can be annoying. Saw one underground holding a block of gold ore, and killed him and the block disappeared along with him. Not so bad with one block of gold ore, but diamond would be a different story!

He's said that, but he's taken tons of suggestions in the past. I suggested the way the watch works for example. Mostly I imagine he doesn't want people suggesting the same thing over and over, especially the stupid things the Minecraft base gets obsessed with from time to time. I mean hell, Jens just blocked a bunch of people because they kept hounding him about a feature that didn't make it into 1.8. Really it all depends on how you catch their attention.
