I have to thank everyone again for the racing advice (and the link in the OP). In the past week, I've gone from 70-85% in each Rivals category to 47%, 48% and 40% (respectively) as of writing. Sure, it's not impressive compared to most of you and I keep Auto and ABS on but I'm beginning to really appreciate the little things: Making mental notes during each lap and trying to perform the necessary corrections, negotiating jackass CPU traffic, etc. Hopefully you folks getting screwed by the shops are all able to score your copies on launch day. In the meantime, I think I'm going to squeeze in a few more laps to wean off ABS by Tuesday.

The LCE availability is low, I can't find a store that will let me preorder one for in-store pickup. What are we missing out on as far as in-game content if we get the normal game + season pass? Is it just the VIP car pack? The BMW art car pack is available as day 1 DLC correct?

I've also had that same email from Game, and there appears to have been a charge to my card, so I'm assuming it means we aren't getting hosed over like some of the US goons unfortunately seem to be.

Ehhhh you might not want to. 1) You'll need a specific WD Scorpio drive in order to do this. 2) You'll need specific tools, and to format the drive to do this. 3) The drive costs about $50. You can buy a drive from China, with enclosure, for about the same. Mine's worked fine for well over a year. 4) MS doesn't ban for this.

The Best Buy ad in the Sunday paper claims they will have the collectors edition on Tuesday. This is probably a lie, the paper is outdated; I know this because it listed the ipod touch 4th gen for $230, meaning it was made before the price drop announcement this week. Just wanted to mention that so no one has a case of blue balls on Tuesday morning.

You can use the rewind feature to avoid this annoyance.

Why can't I see any ghosts? On all three of the rivals races, no matter who I have set as my rival, I never see any ghosts. Doesn't matter how many laps I do or what. I've even set myself as rival and don't see a ghost.

Just played the demo last night and in retrospect I kind of wish I hadn't now. It has just made the 2 day wait for Forza 4 more painful. I ended up staying up a lot later then I intended to last night because of that loving Rivals mode. I became obsessed with trying to beat my cousin's lap time. I managed to get down my lap time down to 1:52 before calling it for the night. I don't know what it is but the last two turns before the final straight away are giving me issues. GT is StalkedBeef if anyone wants to add me.
