Is there a way to create a power card that features all of the different saving throw modifiers on your character? I've got one that carries several different items granting her bonuses to different saves. They don't come anywhere near fitting in the tiny box originally provided.
To my knowledge, the LCB doesn't have any mechanism to make that easy. It WOULD be possible to create a blank power, and manually add blurbs for saving throw bonuses, but we would have to hunt down every possible saving throw bonus to manually set it to add text to said power.

In short, it's technically possible for us to hack something together, but it'd be a massive amount of work, and something we'd have to remember to deal with any time we add or change anything granting save bonuses...

I've changed a lot since I started hanging with Sonic, but I can't depend on him forever. I know I can do this by myself! Okay, Eggman! Bring it on!
I think something is wrong with the Torm Domain features for Warpriest.
Unless they're supposed to have the features "Translucent" and "Junk in the Trunk"...

yea there is a simple method, but it may look tacky.

Create a power card (utility) that works the same way the new second wind card works. each time a new feat, power, etc is added to your character sheet, it adds a line to the Saving Throw card

Do as you like. It's not my job to kill you.
editing base items to make sure everything is compatible with the Hexblade implement inheritance sure is a pain in the rear end.

First, may the FSM bless everyone who has been working on integrating the latest HotFW material into the mix. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Ramen.

However, the "Sidhe Lord" background is only showing up for half-elves instead of them plus "any race with a fey origin" -- according to the Compendium, that would include Drow, Eladrin, Elf, Gnome, Hamadryad, Pixie, Satyr, and Wilden. I would think that Hengeyokai would also count, unless that gets changed post-playtest.

In addition, the "Fey Beast Tamer", "Sidhe Lord", "Tuathan", and "Unseelie Agent" backgrounds need to have lines such as this to activate their associated skills:
code:
   <rules>
      <grant name="ID_INTERNAL_BACKGROUND_ASSOCIATION_ARCANA" type="Background Association" />
      <grant name="ID_INTERNAL_BACKGROUND_ASSOCIATION_NATURE" type="Background Association" />
    </rules>
The above would be for "Fey Beast Tamer"; similar pairs apply to the other three new backgrounds added yesterday.

Once again, thank you all.

this needs to be changed as its only allowing arcane powers, which was fine until the Skald came along. (the Skald is an arcane, martial class) so its powers are available

MC Skald doesn't currently qualify you for taking Unexpected Flourish, either.

Why, MC Skald makes gives you the Skald Class which is Martial Arcane.
or do you think that MC Skald gives you just Bard, which is pure Arcane?

MC Skald should give you both the Martial and the Arcane power source, which would then qualify you for Unexpected Flourish, which requires the Martial power source, along with being Spellscarred.

I noticed also that being a Hybrid Bard does not give you access to the Skald Training feat to swap Majestic Word for the Skald's Aura power.

Or, the Skald Training feat isn't included yet... got it. :)

Hey,

I was messing around with trying to find a workaround for adding damage types to powers, and I might be onto something, so I figured I'd share.

I created a list of Wondrous Items that I can add to my character sheet, and select powers to add that keyword to the associated power. Each magic item currently has the option of selecting up to 10 powers, but that's arbitrary; adding more lines we can expand that. I also used the optional entry so that you don't need to fill out everything.

Going forward, maybe we can start modifying the individual magic items (like Frost Weapon, Flaming Weapon, etc) with these rules. What do you guys think?

Looks like Skalds aren't being given training in Arcana like they're supposed to be...

EDIT: Also, while they're being granted new daily selections at 15+ from Master of Story and Song, they're also still getting the replacement that the standard progression other classes get. They either need to be granted the "No Daily Powers" feature and manually given selections for levels 5 and 9, or use the part file I posted a few days ago breaking "No Daily Powers" and "No Utility Powers" up by levels to take away the levels 15, 19, 25, and 29 daily powers.

Here's the link to the individual no-power grants, as well as the revised Levels to make use of them.

That's what I couldn't figure out while I was creating it do skalds get the standard replacement power at 15+ and the an additional power at 15+
because that's how I created it

right now they get 2 powers at level 1
their standard power at 5 and 9
and two powers at 15 + (their standard replacement and one additional)

I have updated the base part already with your new power rules so that's not an issue and changing things isn't either
just not exactly sure what and when they get them

They get one daily power at 15, 19, 25 and 29. They do not have to replace an older daily power to gain the new daily power. They are just limited to only being able to use three daily powers per day, only one per level.

Which is cool and stupid at the same time. It brings back the feel I want with the Sorcerer being able to choose spells to use on the fly without having to prepare it, but it means that I can't double-tap level 5 daily powers (for instance) if I wanted to sacrifice a level 9 or higher daily power.

The Skald daily "attack" powers don't actually involve making attacks, instead adding effects to your Skald's Aura, so they don't suffer as much from being out-leveled, like other classes do.

And on a slightly different subject, the character sheet description for Master of Story and Song says you can only use one daily power per day, regardless of level. Here's an update that changes the description at levels 5 and 9.

Almost done, actually; only got two left, specifically Beastwalker Circle and Fading Target are the only two I haven't checked off my list; shouldn't take me long.

That being said, I was having problems getting Harbinger of Nature's Wrath (multiclass Protector) showing up in the list. Turns out the reason was that the prereqs tag had "!ID_FMP_HYBRID_CLASS_894", which, as it turns out, is the official ID for hybrid Sentinels. In order for the feat to work, you either have to update the hybrid Sentinel to use the correct ID, or you need to change the prereq.

Obviously, the former is the better choice.

Here's all of the feats from Heroes of the Feywild (minus Master of Stories, since it's already in the feats part).

Not all of them have been tested, but they should work. A number of feats didn't need rules entries applied to them (notably the "expend racial power to do X" feats), but I did clear up a number of the short descriptions for clarity.

As I stated in my last post, the prereqs on the Harbinger of Nature's Wrath feat won't work properly unless the Hybrid Sentinel's ID is changed to ID_FMP_HYBRID_CLASS_894.

Sounds good will pull the feats and correct the hybrid sentinel

No no, I meant that if you MC Skald with Master of Stories, the builder won't let you take Unexpected Flourish at the moment, as it doesn't think you meet the prereqs.

I think the whole two power sources thing is tripping it up.

And my eyes bulging means that I'm going to be chattering for a while!
The Beastwalker Circle feat doesn't seem to be working correctly on my end; it adds Wild Shape fine, but it's also supposed to let you choose a normal Druid daily instead of a use of Summon Natural Ally, and it's not letting me pick any dailies.

Currently I have finished the new Nine swords of tyr and now working on the new ritual feats and rituals from dragon 405

Stupid builder does not recognize rituals as prereqs either, so the only prereq will be the ritual caster feat and then it will list the remaining requirements. Up to DM to check the prereqs on the actual feat unless someone can up with a work around.

Stupid builder does not recognize rituals as prereqs either, so the only prereq will be the ritual caster feat and then it will list the remaining requirements. Up to DM to check the prereqs on the actual feat unless someone can up with a work around.

The builder can recognize items and stuff in your inventory and use those as requirements for powers (such as those Sorcerer powers that require using a dagger.) Is there no way to have it look to see if you have a specific ritual book in your inventory?

Hey, I just wanted to say to everyone who's working on this stuff:

Have I ever told you that you're my hero?
The wind beneath my wings?

Awesome job, guys! Not to sound impatient and I know we're looking at crowdsourced work that I'm not contributing to in the least -- how long does it usually take for this stuff to get folded into the WOTC everything file?

Thanks again!

There shouldn't NEED to be a fix.

Beastwalker Circle allows you to pick dailies instead of getting additional uses of Summon Natural Ally at levels 5 and 9, but they're optional. As such, I made the feat add selections for optional features (under Class) at these levels; when you take them, it grants the daily power choice, and puts something on the character sheet denoting that you traded a use of Summon Natural Ally for the daily.

Ahhhh kinda thought it was working correctly after reading the code initially but I actually did not run a test I just updated with a grant but.....
I will double check before I upload the fix, if it is working properly then no fix will be uploaded

I understand the issue now "Optional" drat English language.

Just a ran check on the builder and this feat is not broken it works perfectly, hats to scpredmage, his precision is once again evident in his creations

Only the swordmage fix uploaded along with the new nine swords of tyr

The version in 09-feats.part DOES include the supporting class features, and quick tests show it working the way I intended.

Also of note, this feat only allows you to take dailies at levels 5 and 9; it does NOT allow you to replace those dailies at higher levels, like other classes can. I even tested the online CB, just to see if that was WotC's intention.

Just to confirm: the online CB won't let you change out your daily attack powers at level 15+ if you're a protector with the beastwalker circle feat?

That's my mistake then, sorry; I didn't think it'd trigger anything under the class tab, so I just didn't think to look.

A cleric that takes Battle Cleric’s Lore instead of Healer’s Lore apparently still presents to the Builder as having Healer’s Lore, and can take the Templar’s Domain feat to ‘lose’ the non-existing Healer’s lore, retaining Battle Cleric’s Lore and gaining the benefits of the Domain feat, and also several benefits explicitly not granted by the Templar’s Domain feat -- to wit, the Domain powers. (entered in buglist)

While it's pretty bitching to get a raft of free powers, this is pretty explicitly not how it's supposed to work.
