Up for sale I have almost all of my second bike, a 1991 Suzuki DR650. I wiped the cam clean and couldn't find a decent replacement head, so I'm parting out the rest of the bike. All parts for sale were on the bike and worked fine, links to pictures. Parts may fit other year models but I can't be sure.

If you're interested I can get you a shipping quote, and I can combine shipping for multiple items.

Questions, purchase interests, etc to ccopeland84@wrenchesandwhiskeycycles.com

I have a set of wheels with mounted knobbys (though I can remove the tires if you don't want them). Tires are in fair condition. Rear hub included with rear wheel.

Posting this up again because I need it out of the (parent's) garage. It's not even my bike!

My buddy just wants to get rid of it at this point.

1978 XS1100, Macho Maroon, great condition. It had been stored by the original owner since 82 or 84. It was stored dry, drained of all fluids. We added oil, gas etc. to get it started but poo poo wasn't working.

Did not run when we got it.

Things we've done:
New pilot screws
Cleaned carbs
New Air Filter (stock)
New Fuel Lines

The last time I tried to start it the petcocks were leaking, I have the rebuild kits. Theoretically this is all that needs to be done with it but my friend doesn't have time for it. I would take the bike off his hands, but.. here's the catch.

I have a bill of sale from the original owner, the 70 year old dude that bought it new. It's filled out on his part, but otherwise blank. It's registered non-op until later this year.

I called DMV, and it would be ~$190 to get it up to street worthyness. What you would have to do is contact the Original Owner, have him find the pink, or get a duplicate, or sign over a title transfer and go with him to the DMV to get it into your name.

Or if you just want it as an old school trackbike, this is perfect.

It has clubman bars on it, but comes with the stock bars as well as the stock backrest/luggage rack.

The bad:
It will need new tires and that's all I can think of.

$500 takes it, located in SoCal - West LA

As much as I'd like to keep it, I don't have room for three bikes and my car at my apartment.

I take pretty good care of my gear and they haven't seen pavement. I'm wearing a two piece leather suit right now with the XL A* SP2's and got a rain suit for bad weather so I don't need these anymore. The gloves cost me $110 and the pants cost me $160 originally. Just looking to give them a good home.

I time bomb.
Last summer was my first riding season. I love in Iowa where gear stores basically don't exist, so I had to buy all my gear online. Unfortunately, I bought 2 pairs of pants a size too small. Since the new season is getting closer, I went ahead and reordered the pants in the correct size and am selling my old pants.

Both pairs of pants are in absolutely mint condition. I've never been down, and there are no snags or tears or anything.

Tour Master Flex pants - size S

These pants are amazing. They're the jack of all trades. Great in super hot weather (I used them over summer when I was riding in Dallas), and great in cold weather with the liners. They're $180 shipped pretty much everywhere online, so I'm asking $140 shipped.

Sliders 4.0 Kevlar jeans - size 30x32

I originally posted about these here. They're great jeans with a ton of Kevlar coverage. Also, since these are the 4.0 jeans, they do support knee armor which is a big plus. These go for $89 shipped ($80 + $9 shipping), so I'm asking $60 shipped.

I'll gladly take PayPal (gcfairch@gmail.com), and I ship really fast. Let me know if you have any questions!

[edit]
The Sliders jeans have been sold (wow, that was fast!)

Wow, this is actually great to know. I'm in Iowa City, and the store in IC sucks (but has a decent bike selection), and McGrath up in Cedar Rapids has a solid bike and helmet selection, but the rest of their gear selection leaves something to be desired.
