I wonder if any of the old crew has been following the kickstarter, and if so, what they think of the massive support.

Amazon or Kickstarter is too stupid to process my credit card correctly (I had to create a separate Amazon account for some dumb reason), if I can't get them to work right can I just paypal you the $50?

Kickstarter automatically attempts trying failed payments again for a certain amount of days (or maybe tries). It might go through during a retry, or maybe there's something about your account that can be fixed before the retry period expires.

Now that the project has been fully funded I can't help but be incredibly curious about whether you and Mike Nelson worked out anything, riffing wise.

Because, you know... that'd be an awesome extra on the bluray.

Though I can't offer any money to this wonderful project, I've transcribed the remainder of the script if it's of any use:

50-60mins
code:

You have caused enough trouble!

As soon as we have disposed of Torgo, we shall take care of you!

Your power fails you! I have no more fear.

Seize her!

And prepare her for sacrifice.

Well done, my wives.

The will of Manos, shall be served!

(*Drumming music*)

It is the will of Manos, that he be sacrificed.

(*ominous music*)

Kill! Kill! Kill!

Manos has decreed it!

Kill! Kill! Kill!

Mike, help us!

Oh, my god!

(*sobs*)

Margaret? Open the door!

Margaret!? Open the door!

(*door thuds*)

Enough!

The ceremony is done.

(*fast dramatic chords*)

(*The Master laughs maniacally*)

(*The Master stops*)

(*The Master laughs maniacally*)

(*The wife sobs*)

Killing doesn't help anymore!

You're all finished!

You've said enough!

Your turn will come, as soon as we've disposed of the others!

Go find the others!

Hurry! Before the night slips away!

(*The Master laughs*)

But [could be "At"] the window, Mike...I saw him at that window!

Okay honey, we'll leave, we'll leave.

We've got to leave! Now!

I can't stand it any longer! Please, Mike!

We'll hide in the desert; someone will help.

The Gods will destroy you!

Your power fails! You cannot endure.

Destroy? (*scoffs*)

(*Mockingly*) The Gods destroy me?

(The Master laughs*)

(*Smacking sounds*)

Destroy me? I am permanent!

Manos has made me permanent!

Your power fails you!

You are losing your control.

Even Torgo defies you!

And he was destroyed, even as you shall be!

Your power does not affect me anymore.

Even your other wives do not trust you!

(*She laughs*)

See? I do not fear you!

Even though you beat me!

Beat me again! Beat! Beat!

(*She whimpers*)

I do not fear you!

(*Slapping noises*)

I can't go on!

Take Debbie and run!

No darling, we'll make it.

Let's go!

(*She gasps for breath*)

Nothing up that way.

Le-let's go this way!

(*They yell*)

Mike!

(*He coughs*)

Mike! Mike, are you alright?

drat...

Mike...we can't go on this way!

We've got to keep going!

They have gone!

They have left the house!

We have searched everywhere.

Find them!

They must not escape!

Find them!

No! Leave them alone! We cannot kill a child!

Enough talk!

Find them!

Manos will be served!

(*Margaret sobs*)

I can't make it, Mike! I can't make it!

Save my baby! Save Debbie!
60mins - End
code:

No, Maggie, we can make it!

We'll rest here for a minute.

We can make it.

Let's go back. They'll never think of looking for us at the house!

You know, you might have a point there.

Please, Mike! Please! I can't go any farther!

Listen, we can lock ourselves in the kitchen; I have my gun!

(*Gunshots*)

We'll have to go back.

Okay, it might be the safest place.

Especially as they're out here looking for us.

Daddy, I'm scared! Where's my Peppy!?

Please, Debbie! Not now!

(*indiscernible police radio chatter*)

That sure sounded like shots. We'd better check.

At this hour of the night?

There can't be anybody out here; this is the boondocks.

Well, sound does travel a long way at night.

It could be clear over in Mexico, for that matter.

(*indiscernible police radio chatter*)

(*Car drives away*)

(*Dog barks*)

(*Gunshots*)

(*Smooth jazz*)

(*Thunder*)

Sure is good to get away!

drat! The rain...

Vacations are fine, but this one should be great!

Yeah, the gang's comin' up for the weekend, what a blast!

Hmm.

Forgetting you,
Is a thing that I cannot do,
Yet, I know,
It is very true,
I'm forgetting you...

Remembering,
Back together, want to be again,
All our time, had its happy end,
I'm forgetting you...

Don't forget,
The silly way we met,
Don't forget,
The tender touch, that set the fire burning in two,
But I'm forgetting you...

April's here,
and it seems you are (oh) so near,
When I look
This dream disappears,
I'm forgetting you, I'm forgetting you...

Don't forget,
The silly way we met,
Don't forget,
The tender touch, that set the fire burning in two,
But I'm forgetting you,

April's here,
And it seems you are (oh) so near,
When I look
This dream disappears,
I'm forgetting you, I'm forgetting you...

I did the same thing, and I think I've seen other people doing this as well, so I don't think it's all that strange.

I don't really know what to expect from the film, other than being 'one of the worst films ever made' . But based on the preview images that we've been shown so far it is going to be quite beautiful in a grainy home-video/photo kind of way. Really looking forward to seeing the end product!

Now that's what I call a geekMAN!
I've been reading about it for years, so it was already something I wanted to see. Just like I didn't hunt down Metropolis again before buying my blu-ray (though I'd seen it before, just not the whole thing obviously), I feel like I should wait for the complete experience.

Then I'll probably MST3K the hell out of it.
