Corny, I know, but I still feel proud of everyone for coming together like this. It was awesome watching the number of backers grow even over the course of the last 24 hours. I wonder if any of the old crew has been following the kickstarter, and if so, what they think of the massive support.

Amazon or Kickstarter is too stupid to process my credit card correctly (I had to create a separate Amazon account for some dumb reason), if I can't get them to work right can I just paypal you the $50?

Kickstarter automatically attempts trying failed payments again for a certain amount of days (or maybe tries). It might go through during a retry, or maybe there's something about your account that can be fixed before the retry period expires.

Mine went through, although it took nearly an hour to complete the transaction.

I think I got it to work, the Kickstarter site is saying it worked now.

I had trouble too but via the Kickstarter page I got it to retry and it went through. Huzzah!

It's weird, I checked my Kickstarter and it said the money was collected, but it's not showing up on my bank account statement as either a paid or pending transaction. Does it just take a few hours to go through?

Now that the project has been fully funded I can't help but be incredibly curious about whether you and Mike Nelson worked out anything, riffing wise. Because, you know... that'd be an awesome extra on the bluray.
Welcome. I am Michael. I take care of the place while the master is away. END CREDITS
I honestly cannot read these closing lines without immediately hearing the ecstatic wooping/cheering/laughter of every single audience I've ever seen this movie with. The horrific ending just fills me with so much joy, this movie is so loving awful and the promise that this dreadful nonsense continues on in a never-ending cycle of new Torgos is just so delightful. Thanks for the happy memories

So Ben, now that you have more than enough money to do this thing, when can I buy Manos on Bluray from you? And what will it cost? I was unfortunately unable to throw in $50 but I must own this thing.

I would pay good money* for a new Rifftrax commentary, ideally as an alternate audio track. That would be awesome. I'm really looking forward to the final release, because it gives me the opportunity to get a clear view of the Master's portrait. I'm tempted to blow it up and get a full-sized canvas for my wall. *additional good money. I pledged at the eleventh hour!

Is it bizarre that I donated $50 having never seen the movie and am waiting for my blu-ray before I do? Because I did. And I think I am.

I did the same thing, and I think I've seen other people doing this as well, so I don't think it's all that strange. I don't really know what to expect from the film, other than being 'one of the worst films ever made' . But based on the preview images that we've been shown so far it is going to be quite beautiful in a grainy home-video/photo kind of way. Really looking forward to seeing the end product!

I've been reading about it for years, so it was already something I wanted to see. Just like I didn't hunt down Metropolis again before buying my blu-ray (though I'd seen it before, just not the whole thing obviously), I feel like I should wait for the complete experience. Then I'll probably MST3K the hell out of it.
