Also, the '82 and '87 Turbos are arguably duplicates, unless they made one of those a slantnose and I don't think they did. Of course, with as in-depth as the various 'aero' options are,

If that's not the case that would suck because I've only just got them all to level 9 with a few exceptions where I've got them higher. At least it's good incentive to drive a variety of cats. I'm Cubivore, and also yes I said that and it is right. I got it backwards in my post After level 25, I believe it is only 50k per level. If you want to poopsock it, you can just do a bunch of 50 lap benchmark A races to get to level 50. I think from 24 to 25 is something absurd like 200k. Level 0-25 is 1.4 million EXP, IIRC, and then a million or so more from 25 to 50.

911 is the best 11. Specifically the GT3 RS 4.0 on the Nurburgring with a CSR Elite and Clubsports.

They're so 90s and Japanesy, yet totally not what you'd expect in a racing game. the best thing is that they changed the menu music for the eu/na release because they thought we wouldnt like the smooooth jazz. When I was a gay teen I ended up with the japanese version like a year before it got released in the uk and I couldnt get used to the other menu music. It was fun figuring out what the hell you needed to do with the licences tho, I remember struggling with the first stopping test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27R_BAhp2xg But to be fair they ended up using most of those tracks in the later games anyway. Also yeah porsche I cant wait! Also the new dlc is tommorow right?

IOwnCalculus posted:I thought the new SC was in one of the DLC packs for Forza 3? Correct on both counts. I've added the DLC cars for FM2 and 3 marked with an asterisk. I thought they were in the lists I was using but apparently not. The '82 was in FM2 and 3, the '87 was in the original. None of them are slantnoses so I added them to the possible dupe list since I'm too lazy to check how the numbers stack up between the two variants.

We'd be looking at very small horsepower differences between the two - the only substantial change I could find for the 930 during its lifetime was the addition of a five-speed gearbox during the final year of production in 1989. I'm excited as gently caress for this new DLC, mostly for the Corvair. I've been playing a lot more Forza lately now that I got in a good solid playthrough on Deus Ex and I'm kinda bored with Skyrim even though I still haven't played the main plotline through yet. The Pinto is a mean little bastard of a car in almost any class, and the Alfa Spider with a supercharger makes for an awesome long-track F-class racer (ovals and Sebring). Plus it sounds awesome.

The Daedric quests are pretty much the only things that are really good in the game, and even then a couple are kinda poo poo. The main quest and the factions are all kinda bland and way too short (I finished the Companions in a single night in one sitting, like less than 3 hours). At least it's still a lot better than Oblivion.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the hell out of it, but the story itself hasn't hooked me enough to finish it. Fallout 3 and New Vegas at least got me to care enough about the plotline to play the story all the way through, even when I'd been able to slay any/everything in my path without even trying for ages.

I don't dislike Skyrim. In fact, I like it a lot more than Oblivion and Fallout 3 because the exploration is pretty good and that's really important for a WRPG in my eyes. Hence why Morrowind is my favorite game ever, because the world was awesome enough to offset the flaws in the game; the quest lines were (mostly) pretty good too, which helped. Skyrim's biggest failing is the quests; they're terrible, but it doesn't stop me from getting lost in the wilderness for a few hours at a time.

If you guys want a reason why a MMO high-way drive Forza would rule, here's something that you can do on rFactor that I think would be awesome to do with goons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyhPL6tBLgY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyhPL6tBLgY

I could legit see GTCC events where we do a hundred mile point-to-point race like that and just gently caress around (only with more racism and dick jokes), and it would fukken rule.

Heh, looks fun. Is that (presumably user-created) road extremely slippery or are they just all terrible at driving? They can't seem to go around any corner faster than 11 mph without understeering off the road 400 yards.

In a lot of cases the driveability of a car in GT5 seems to be directly proportional to how cool Kaz thinks it is. Granted Turn 10 probably fudged the data on certain cars to make them more competitive, too.
