No they're going to stay the same level, unless the person who has the pawn has played and leveled up. I believe you can save the pawn to use it later. I don't fully know if this is the case though so somebody feel free to correct me if this is not the case.

Thanks, that was it. Looks like buying hair dyes unlocks them for the character editor. After going to the barber I see that there's a new section available where new colors will show up. Weird thing is that there's 14 spaces, only 1 of which being used by the color I bought, and only a few other colors available in that store. I wonder what else may show up.

Go into the rift and talk to her to add her to your favorites list. Then touch the rift stone and search by favorites and you'll see what level she "really" is. If it's not too high for you then release her and re-hire her.

Why are mage cast times so ridiculously long? The spells themselves do ok damage but archers seem to do the same amount of damage over time and have extremely better mobility. They should be half of what they are.

Maybe not. You can buy the house yourself for 80k if you speak with Fournival but they may end up evicted even with that, I don't know. I gave the family the 30k to get them out of there

Backfire is the best magic archer skill and it's for daggers, so just keep doing what you're doing.

For 80k you can buy the house for them. If you do, each member of the house will give you a random item when you talk to them every so often.

You can mark them for later use. But they don't update unless you go to the rift and re-recruit them.

I'm enjoying this game but it does a poor job of letting you know if you're going the right way. Right now I'm supposed to be finding this bandit den. And I went to the place on the map. I killed all the bandits. But it doesn't say whether or not I've completed the quest. It also doesn't tell me if I still need to be here.... So do I just wander back to town or what? No quick travel is really annoying.
This is one of the main complaints I have against this game. I get bored extremely quickly just aimlessly wondering around trying to find places and it feels like I'm doing it a whole lot in DD. I wouldn't mind it so much if you didn't die so loving easily. I also honestly wish the game was just your player character and no one else. I find pawns to be generally useless, making combat far more chaotic than it should be.

as for the first one, maybe one of your pawns grabbed one of them? I bet they all have to be in your main character's inventory to hand them over to him.

As for the second, I bet you did. Unlike you I did the RIGHT thing and now I'm in with all the cool people.

They don't, I had four in one of my pawn's inventories and the fifth in mine. The game is really good at making it easy to combine/sell/turn in things by basically acting as though your pawns' inventories and your storage is all just your expanded inventory. They're all in chests I think, make sure you try every ladder up once you drain the water because I think every one leads to a piece. Then there's one just in the main room in a chest once you've drained the water. I think one you can get before draining, even, you just have to jump across to the chest in the center of the main room.

If you mean that huge group of them near the fort, I did them at level 28 without any kind of special preparations, it can be done. Just go after the weak ones first until only those crazy sword sponge fighters are left, surround them and murder them.

80% of them are easy as hell and every now and then there will be random groups of obscenely overpowered ones. Or maybe I'm underleveled I dunno.

Took them out, although they were one of the insanley hard bandit packs I have run into. It's the ones in the tight canyon on the way to Bluemoon tower. I'm seriously at a loss. I can sometimes get through the first wave but it's a bitch and the second wave wastes me. Who knows how many more are after that either.

I can confirm they can be spread out through your inventories and you can still turn them in. My personal guess would be he had a pawn forfeit with it in his inventory (in which case it would go to storage)? If he did something that got it removed from the temple entirely (maybe something like his pawn opening one of the chests and then he left the area without anyone picking it up) it should be available at the forger's store.

I'm level 30 and haven't gotten there yet as I've been doing lots of sidequests I guess, but I don't really have trouble with bandits anymore. I guess I'd just recommend trying some new pawns, hiring some level 50 or so dudes or something. My main pawn has three stars in fighting bandits so I guess she's learned some effective strategies. For me, ensnare works wonders as does the warrior skill where you launch them in the air. I just do crowd control at first to try to keep everybody down as much as possible and then focus on the ranged/magic guys.

No, the bandits in that area can absolutely tear her a new one, it happened countless times to me until I decided to take the forest route instead.
