That feels like a mini-trailer. (Not that I don't mind it). I kept wanting to copy and paste it, but it's Flash. I would love to see GIF animated posters. Although, with the amount of :effort: in the poster industry... that probably won't happen.

This is probably closer to what you had in mind. It's also a Flash, but it's pretty much a pretty cool moving poster for what I hear is a pretty terrible movie.

Oh, it came out in some places already. Let's see what Australia's poster looks like.

Well that's even worse. Isn't there something else coming out this weekend?

Wow, they must really like this picture of her or something:

I'd love to spend an hour staring in a hypnotic trance at the print of the Die Hard one.

I have the Metropolis poster from that same page on my wall right now. http://www.2046design.com/gallery_comicbooktravelposter.html

And for a movie related one the Akira/Neo Tokyo poster is up in the other room.

Now I really want that HAL poster too...

This one's a little lazy, with the stones spelling Jehovah and all the rats? You'd think they'd include the bullwhip, Julian Plummer's Nazi pin, the dust used to see the invisible bridge, and some "humbling" saw blades.

When this poster was going through the wringer I kept thinking about this thread and how it would get blasted. And how nobody would believe me when I say the photo looked like that.

It has been touched up and now everybody is all shiny and Zach's hand looks fake somehow but that is a photo. Now, the baby's face has been changed but yeah. Everyone loved it and thought it was so funny.

Curious.

The whole series of posters make me think it's about two gay married men who have adopted a baby, but they are running for the same office! Hi-lar-ious! :iamafag:

(They aren't rival-ish enough in the baby photo, and in the other one, they definitely look like they are playing an intense game of Gay Chicken)

There was the part with the fire in the crypts and rats coming through the overturned coffin. That scene stands out in my mind whenever I think of the movie.

Maybe this has been asked, but do these independent/fan posters have to pay licensing money to the studios? I just can't imagine the studios letting independent artists use their property to make money for themselves.

I'd like it more if the spaceship looked as well done as the woods surrounding it.

Right now it looks like some quick shape tool layers and only has a basic resemblance to the ship in the film.
