Holy poo poo, I used to look down upon Magick Archer, cause while it was fun, it didn't seem to be able to really output a whole lot of damage outside of spamming sixfold bolt. Then I got Great Scension and Immolation. Now I almost feel like the bow on my back is useless, cause I just light myself on fire and then everything dies.

Against fast enemies the trick is to use the jumping heavy attack. You can close the distance while jumping and it comes out faster than any standing attack. Then when they're down you hit them with a special and probably kill them.

The jump-light is also really good, I use it to take down harpies and it works better than the fighter 1h sword anti air attack. Try abusing pommel bash, it's crazy fast and OP as hell (and uses almost no stamina).

Err.. does that mean my Arisen is going to be a pedophile or something? Because that is kinda messed up, man.

So Reynard is gone. I guess if you complete his questline he just vanishes. I've checked everywhere too. What really sucks is I am on Trials and Tribulations and I only have 3 affidavits. I dunno how many I need to prove the guys innocence. I've also taken it upon myself to kill anyone who has anything nasty to say about Fournival. I turned in a 4th affidavit for a noticeboard quest and I am kinda regretting that now. Could anyone gift me a chamberline's affidavit if they got one handy (forged copy of one I mean).

Whoa that looks pretty sweet, easily the best armor so far. I'm wondering how much longer capcom is gonna nickel and dime everyone. Stop with the tiny DLC and spend a month and make something worth a drat. Also if someone can get me a forged chamberlines affidavit that would be much appreciated. You can get Fournival found innocent with no forgeries / fake affidavits at all. The three genuine petitions and the witness from the Stone of the North, with no counterveiling evidence, is enough for Not Guilty.

Nice world you've got here. Shame if anything were to happen to it.

Another journey. My party consisted of:

Methuselah the Mage (GT: Raf the Ripper)

Ser Gabriel the Warrior (GT: illgarrett)

Thorn the Sorceror (GT: Kr0jar)

We stocked up on our provisions at twilight. Once again, even the heaviest of our curatives couldn't make a dent in Ser Gabriel's encumbrance. That man is an ox. Thorn's spell loadout is observed, and I decide to make no changes to Methuselah's.

We journey through the quarry to do battle with the drake in the Devilfire Grove. Some goblins engage us in a running battle through the woods. I notice that Ser Gabriel has learned to perform an Arc of Deliverance - he attempts to bisect nearly every hobgoblin in the wood with it, with very limited success. Eventually, we run across the drake. He finds us before we find him.

Thorn is immediately rushed by the dragon and is the first to go down. I rush forward to help her, and the drake is able to crush us both when we get to our feet. When we come to our senses, the battle rages on.

Methuselah intermittently sends a spire of ice through the drake's chest. He retaliates by breathing flame. By this point we've killed most of the hobgoblins in the vicinity.

Thorn needs help again, but she's not the only one - Methuselah and Ser Gabriel are taken out in the same instant by some unforeseen dragon maneuver. Everyone's critically wounded, but Methuselah taps into his collection of Spring Water to help us out.

The drake catches Methuselah, which gives me an opening to shoot at its heart. Once I do, Ser Gabriel winds up an Arc of Deliverance - on the wrong side of the drake. His efforts don't go unrewarded - he takes a chunk out of the drake all the same. The drake attempts to get some distance, and I slip in under him to deliver the mortal blow.

We pick at its rapidly-decaying corpse. Ser Gabriel takes on the hefty dragon body parts and we continue our journey southwestwards to the Healing Spring, where we might convalesce.

The spring has a token band of goblins guarding it. I send one reeling with a roundhouse kick.

But Ser Gabriel sends one SOARING with his Arc of Deliverance. I wish I could have gotten a screenshot of when that goblin landed on his face. I attempt to pick up the dead goblin and toss it at Ser Gabriel, but he has none of that. We continue onward toward the Conqueror's Sanctuary.

We encounter yet another two cyclopes having a goblin stomp-off. One of them has apparently sat on a goblin. The other seems nonplussed.

Once we shoot the goblin ballista crew on the far side of the sanctuary, we join battle with a cyclops. Ser Gabriel scrambles up the thing's leg and onto its neck, while Methuselah and Thorn bombard it with lightning.

Ser Gabriel keeps beating mercilessly at the cyclops' helm, while the rest of the party target its exposed lower body. It goes down, with Ser Gabriel riding it like a mechanical bull.

Night falls, so we decide to stay out of trouble by combing the nearby beaches for valuable resources. We catch fish, pull herbs, mine ore, loot chests and harvest grapes. We have a merry old time in the dead of midnight.

While out harvesting, we encounter a golem.

Ser Gabriel destroys the medallion on its foot and its left arm. Thorn and Methuselah destroys its right. I clamber all over and remove the rest. Thorn is convinced that poison is golem's bane. She quickly switches tack.

We continue scouring the beaches and hinterlands for a goodly amount of time, until the sun comes up. It's another beautiful day in good ol' Gransys. A griffin waves us good morning, and once we ground it, Ser Gabriel immediately deals the killing blow with a single Arc of Deliverance to the base of its neck. I was not able to get a shot of that.

Moving further inland, we rush some goblins in a tent, and later clear them out of a disheveled house. We claim the lives of many saurians, which Thorn's Ice Affinity enchant helps wonders with.

We journey to the ruins of Aernst Castle and immediately begin looting it in the sight of the friendly bandits. This one catches a fish while I steal the Ferrystone from his boat.

We continue along the beach, where we find many a bandit cavorting with a cyclops. The bandits fall quickly, and the cyclops doesn't appear to be choosy who it kills. Some difficulty arose when Methuselah was unable to cast due to dodging knife attacks. Eventually, we cleared the bandits and isolated the cyclops.

As is his wont, Ser Gabriel goes immediately for the jugular. The sun setting, we decide to use the Ferrystone to get us back to Gransys.

We hoard the valuables and go out to the fountain for some nice post-adventuring rest. Everyone is well-behaved enough to stay out of the fountain, and I spot Ser Gabriel and Thorn looking blankly at one another at a comfortable distance. It was probably the most emotional and affectionate act that pawns are able to share among themselves, so I decided to take a screenshot of it.

Hahaha, awesome, I only just stuck Arc of Deliverance on him the other night, it's hice to hear feedback about skills and such because I've been experimenting a lot with them recently :3: I'm glad you're having fun with him, I've been using Methuselah a lot recently and drat, he's looking awesome, I'll have to send him home and pick him up again if that's his new look. He already has that 'Badarse aged spellslinger' look about him.

Has anyone tried the new voices? For that little MSP I might pick it up for when I (in a long, long time) cloudsave and make new characters; Do you have to have it to hear the new voices if other peoples pawns are using them? It's interesting.

My original 360 controller (Had it for about 6 years) is literally starting to break due to the amount of use it's seen recently, like too much holding the left stick up has worn away a ton of the plastic near the top of the stick-indent and caused my left analogue's movement to be abit janky, so, I may or may not be able to play today.

Glad everyone's having fun with Ser Gabriel though, it's great to see. I know what you mean about the fountain, seems like everytime I pass through there some random guys pawn im using jumps in and then shouts "I'M SOAKED TO THE BONE!"... Well its your fault for pretending you a were a loving pigeon bro. I like to think Gabriel is well behaved in general, I got him out of his bad habit of running straight up to explosive barrels and hitting them with his sword (Mostly) I don't even know who taught him that, it certainly wasn't me. He went through a phase of doing it everytime I was stood near one, it got to the point that we'd be exporing and I'd see a barrel and be like "Oh gently caress, NO, loving RUN AWAY." before he bellyflopped it and sent us both flying.

I turned in both the petitions and the witness as well as Evidence you can find against him in his house and while he was found guilty, he Got sentenced to life-imprisonment, not execution I'm wondering if there's varying degrees of innocence or guilt.

Here me out, see, All the stuff proving him innocent was just the opinions of notable people, petitions, etcetera, and a forged affidavit of innocence, whereas the only piece of evidence was a solid piece of evidence that added to what he'd been accused of, the poo poo in his house about gifts and stuff,, which is kinda hard to get away from So I'm thinking, and please if anyone knows the details, just carry on and blow this away for me so I know whats up for future runs through

You can get Innocent! All's cool brosephs. Guilty - Imprisoned, Really Guilty - He dies

Does this sound right to anyone else? The spoiler's are regarding the Trials and Tribulations quest so if you've not done it you'll want to avoid them :)

So after hearing that New Game+ is pretty lame, and not that challenging I'm looking to start over from scratch. My first play-through I went pure combat going Strider-Fighter-Ranger-Assassin. Now I'm torn between doing a pure magic run, or a no-pawn playthrough.

My question is, is it even worth playing through the game as a sorcerer? I'd imagine there are some fun skills to use and mess around with, but if it's just going to be 40 hours of selecting a spell and waiting for it to cast while my pawns do the work, I'll pass.

The solo run does seem pretty fun to me, and I'd still be able to mess around with mystic knight and archer, but if the magic in this game is worth playing around with I might save a solo run for much farther down the line. I don't want to be forced to quite just because the game is too hard either.

Actually that augment isn't that terrible since it regenerates you back to full health, so even further than mage healing gets you. You never need to use healing items when exploring since the augment will get you back to 100% health eventually.
What the augment doesn't do is make mages worthless or cut out the need for healing items, since that would make it overpowered and worthless. The way it is now, it's another nice boost, just like all the augments.

All the dragon sage guy gives you is a dragonleather shirt and a scroll that tells your pawns to hit dragons in their heart, its nothing you cant get later. The random guy is whoever you were most bros with during the game, normally people get the duchess or madeleine cause they do the most quests for them but i guess if you didnt do a lot of quests for people the random guy was the bro you talked to most.
