Anyone wanting to start who likes instances, like I do, here is my experience. Deadmines is broken at Mr. Smite, people say he isn't supposed to spawn 2 mobs and bring 2. Blackfathom Depths has a problem with the final door, but I hear a mage can blink through and open it. Finally, I ran Gnomeregan and the dark iron agent's mines move around like roombas, and the final boss spawns bombs at a possibly accelerated rate.

With Mr. Smite I've always had the group hang back, one person pulls him (spawning the 2 at the bottom) and then dies intentionally. When the group re-engage the boss the two invisible adds at the bottom just aren't there. Not sure if this was a retail Vanilla trick but I definitely used it on Emerald Dream.

Found out that just like on Rebirth, the boats dump you into deep water after transition (loving mac bug IIRC). Something that no vanilla server admins feel warrants captain placeholder apparently.

As I remember from rebirth, the dangerous one is the boat between Ratchet and Booty Bay, which drops you out too far to swim back to shore without dying. You can do the Wetlands to night elf country safely, though, and I haven't tried Wetlands-Marsh at all yet.

If anyone has a level 60 they dont want Id consider moving from Warsong to hang with you guys (Im a filthy Euro though so no idea if it would even be useful). Naxx raiding is boring when there is no progression so the urge to quit is high. This will be more challengingfun possibly. I will never level a vanilla character again though.

I think everyone who has hit 60 (up to 22 according to the guild site's graphs!) is still actively playing. Maybe if you're still interested in a few months you'll be able to grab someone's abandoned shared level 60. Ill be keeping tabs on you guys, but as I say the levelling is painful, I did it enough times on retail and have now been spoiled on 12x levelling on Warsong (level 60 in like 21-24 hours? Yes please). I wont level for months to do content I have done many times before, the levelling and story is played out for me and is no fun, but for some reason raiding doesnt get old as fast. All the best though and I hope you guys make a good go of it. I think Feenix will be around for some time.

I did a little updating of the bank inventory table tonight. People had been asking for drop-down filters since I first made this site for the old Rebirth alliance guild. I have to admit it does make finding things quite a bit better. Next on the to-do list for the site is to get away from using posts to track which requests have been filled. It gets kind of tedious to update all the request posts, especially when people put in several one-line requests at once. So for everyone who helps fill requests (Cmon other officers you know you want to join the fun!) you can look forward to an easier way of checking off requests in the near future.

The leveling in Vanilla is what I enjoyed most. The long and pointless running around for very little XP just seemed like a very nice distraction from real life. End game? I'll take the green wizard if its still going (Lecks in game). Just rolled a mage alt so this'll save me some 2 weeks. Loving this server so far, everyone seems really fuckin' cool. I've also made an enemy on alliance side, a warrior called Immovable. All because I (a paladin) rolled on a 2handed axe and won it over him.

I'm never in a huge rush to level up because the one thing I enjoyed most about classic wow was the 20s-50s random world pvp.

Has anyone else had to deal with an odd lag? It seems like a few times a minute whatever animation or cast or action I do continues going on for a moment, and then the game speeds up to catch up with what happened. This seems to only happen on this private server, and even with a 156ms I shouldn't be having this problem, and don't have this problem on any other game / server. I'm east coast if that helps. I've also notice by just having chrome open it can skyrocket my ping to 600's.
