You can back games up onto your computer but they won't be playable on any 3DS but the original system that bought them. You can move your stuff to another SD card and put it in the same 3DS and it won't make any fuss over it.

If I wanted a portable copy of Cave Story, should I hold out in hopes of finding a copy of Cave Story 3D, or is Cave Story+ just fine? The 3D part isn't a huge concern to me either way, I'm more concerned about content/gameplay/glitchiness.

Does anyone know if Club Nintendo only accepts one code per game title? My sister and I both got the Adventure Time 3DS game and it only accepted the code from my game, so I'm just wondering if this is normal.

Only one copy of a game may be registered with Club Nintendo. I wonder (and hope) they will one day use Club Nintendo's account and the game registration history instead of this Miiverse thing that didn't turn out to be what people wanted.

Cave Story 3D has remixed music while CS+ has additional content like Wind Fortress and Curly Brace mode (maybe, i'm basing this off the PC version). And + is probably cheaper.

As far as I'm aware, at the end of June or July every year, people who got gold and platinum get to choose from special set of rewards for each tier. The counter then resets and you have to earn the 300/600 coins again for the next year.

Gold is a calendar or something, Plat is something nifty usually. The other year it was a button set, last year wasn't as cool.

Did anyone else have a problem getting their free game from Nintendo after getting a system and the Pokemon or Luigi game? I selected star fox 64, but each time I click the order button, I get There was a problem with y our request but don't worry your coins are safe with wario. And no were in my account does it offer the game again. I never recieved the code in email or on screen.

I just picked up an XL from Target for $179 along with Kid Icarus. I just realized I could have gotten Monster Hunter, should I stick with the purchase? I didn't realize you need to use the stylus to play, is MH the same way? I hope my HTC one hasn't ruined my ability to enjoy this console, going back to my phone after looking at the 3ds is like putting on glasses for the first time.

You should set up a family account, which lets you link together multiple accounts; unless they changed something, each member of a Family can register one of each item. If you only have one account, that means you're limited to one total; if you have two linked accounts, you're eligible for two total. Just make sure you log in as the correct person before registering the item.

There's also a demo for MH on the eshop if you want to try it out.

Dont let the strange controls turn you off too much, after getting used to it after a couple stages, youll love it
