https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt2WyqhbucY A bill allowing Charter Schools has just been passed in New Zealand. This is John Banks (currently under investigation for lying about donations), leader of the free market ACT Party, who was the driving force behind the bill. How nice he's so worried about Maori achievement - seems to be strangely gleeful about the current failures, but I'm sure that can't b- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFGoyAHhm9I Oh no, wait, he's a colossal racist.

The thing is, they're all wearing white tees, which in most states, you have to buy from the commissary. That means these are probably long term prisoners. What the hell California? Tomorrow is the 24th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square protests. As a result, Chinese censors have blocked the words "today" "tonight" and "June 4" as search terms. Also the words "big yellow duck" as a result of this creative image that made the rounds on Chinese social media by circumventing the censors. Eat all the dicks, Chinese government.

Also, California was ordered in 2009 to reduce the prison population to 137.5% of capacity, this was upheld in 2011 by the Supreme Court. California responded by taking some inmates and cramming them in county jails then flipping the Supreme Court the bird. Who is this governor dedicated to keeping California's prisoners in unsafe and unconstitutional conditions?

The level of vitriol displayed towards the bike program by some sectors of NYC is simply amazing. There's an endless flood of horror stories about how someone's day or health or business was ruined by those evil bikes. It does have problems, but with thousands of the things deployed and less than a week of operation a few glitches here and there are inevitable. By and large normal people are either happily using the bikes or not giving a crap one way or the other. Here's a picture that ran in the Daily News of one of those unfortunate victims of the totalitarian bikeists infesting our fair city:
