I don't like it when you're watching me eat.

Am I understanding that article correctly? In April, all of the covers on the comics from DC's lineup are going to reveal major plot points, telling you the story inside.

So in essence, doing what a comic book cover should.

Or is it the fact that the right half of the cover would be folded under the front, so you'd have to unfold and open the book in order to see the second half? Which just spoils the story inside anyway.

Teenage Fansub
Jan 28, 2006

It was just that solicitations only came out for the left sides of the april gatefolds, so the contest or whatever is to imagine some dumb stuff for the other half.

I assume they'll do what regular covers do but all be orientated with left side hero, folded under right side threat, but whatever, bonus double wide cover art.

Man, I remember this being a lot funnier in the old DCU.
This thing was referenced in a Brave and the Bold episode. Ironically, that episode made Batman look like the rear end in a top hat (he presumed to boss around Green Lanterns). And somehow Guy didn't beat the poo poo out of Batman (recall that in the above vignette, Guy challenged Bats to an honorable, ringless duel).
