Only American Dad could have a plot like this while still managing to force me to stifle my laughs for fear of waking the neighborhood.

Darren covering itself in oil and flour and jumping on the hot skillet was so much funnier than it should have been.

That was fantastic. Every scene with the Dodo was brilliant, and the Blade Runner stuff came out of nowhere and was perfect.

The Blade Runner bit from this episode I think is a good example of how to do referential humour right. It actually made sense with the plot of the episode rather than just being thrown in there randomly, and yet you still didn't see it coming.

Really glad to see that the complete overhaul in the writing staff hasn't affected the show's quality. I hope someone gifs that scene of the teacher's rear end dragging on the floor.

That was great. I have to say I really enjoyed the water theme that was going on throughout the episode. Water is the source of life, so it makes sense to sprinkle it about a clone story. The spit, the thermos, the rain, the comments on us being mostly water, loved it all. I'm glad some shows still work to add subtlety.

I thought it was okay. Not great for a season opener. Didn't like the Family Guy Italy/Spain thing though. American Dad has been doing that more often now for the past 2 seasons, whoever is deciding that on the writing staff needs to cut it out. Everything else was fine, though. Solid story but nothing outrageously funny to me.

It's back! Hurrah! I loved the descent into Blade Runner. Incredibly well done, step by step, until it's just a full on homage, Vangelis and all. One of those episodes where after it's done, you just sit back and say "God, I love this show."

Any other show would have yelled out "Blade Runner!" at some point. And agreeing with No. 9, the last season had too much Family Guy-level bullshit, let's hope it's not infecting this one as well.

Something I thought was kind of a goofy callback was how the People that Stan was reading had a picture of George Clooney on the cover and he still had the muttonchops.
