There is definitely optimization issues with the game. i5 3570k, 16gb of ram, 780gtx, 120gb SSD. Game had major stuttering issues last night. Woke up today, did a complete reinstall of windows, still slogging along with sub-par performance. Every other game runs fine, every benchmark runs fine. The game is running 100% all 4 cores, but my graphics card isn't really being used.

Because we have the same card and I have a way worse computer otherwise than you and I have zero stutter or performance issues. Install the 326.19 drivers and give it a try.

Ran pretty smoothly.

One thing that people freaking out about the battle packs offering upgrades that give different bonuses then the normal unlockables need to keep in mind is that all of the unlockables are not in the game yet. The muzzle break and flash hider are not the same but if you look suppressors aren't in for any of the rifles I looked at.

One you can unlock from using the gun, the other comes from battle packs.

Just to toss an anecdote on the other side of the drivers discussion, upgrading to beta drivers took me from 25 fps with 1 fps dips to 45 solid.

Just moved my video card to another slot. Didn't change a thing. Old drivers, new drivers. Doesn't change a thing. Origin overlay off, didn't change a thing. My CPU sits at 100% the entire time in game, while my GPU runs at like 35%. There's something wrong there, and there's no way I'm going to let my CPU run at 100% while my GPU does nothing.

i5 3570 @ 3.4ghz HD7950 @ 1000ghz/1300ghz (13.10b2 drivers) 8GB 1600 RAM Game runs very smooth for me on the "ultra" preset @ 1080P. Average FPS seem to be around 50-60 usually on the 64 player server I was on. I think that is about what I was getting in BF3. I have the Origin overlay turned off, someone in game was going on about how that can help. CPU usage is usually in the 90% area, but spikes up to 100% sometimes. Game is using around 5GB of memory. Just posting this info as a reference to anyone else with similar hardware wondering what good setting they can use. I may drop it down to the "high" preset, but it is a beta so hopefully the finished product has some better optimizations.

Had no real issues on an i7 2600k and a 6850 @1600x900. I was also recording via OBS (no quick sync) with 720@30fps I did turn my details down to medium. Game looked and played pretty good.

Recon gets C4 and claymores now, but after fans basically pointed out that Support would be left with an airburst grenade launcher and mortar while recon got those two items, the SOFLAM, Wookie balls and the spawn beacon DICE relented and decided support would get C4 and Claymores as well. Edit: Of course, that is in the release game, I believe the Airburst Grenade launcher is in the beta, but no C4 for the support.

I'm having a weird issue with my helicopter keybinds. I'm using a 360 pad to fly with, and have remapped everything to basically be the same as BF3, the problem i'm getting is when i hit RB (or button 6) it also activates the commo-rose. I've deactivated the shortcut from the common controls, but it isn't going away. You have to buy BATTLECRATES in order to get any attachments for your guns since leveling up is so slow you might as well be playing a Korean MMO? Hahahahaha not buying BF4, gently caress you
