I got a pyro transmogrifier thing, turned the ugly engineer monkey thing into a pretty cool cauldron of body parts. I hope these things become tradable after the event, otherwise I'm just gonna delete about 2 thirds of the things I've gotten. I've had zero problems with crashing myself and had a consistent connection to the item servers too. One or two times my game has kinda frozen for a sec like it's tried to crash but it picks itself right back up and keeps going. Sorry guys.

So I found out if you use the tiny spell to try to fly up to the book and win, the big devil skull shoots lightning and kills you.  Also flying around as a tiny guy with a big head is the greatest thing.

You're really missing out, because the skeletons are easily the best part of the update. I literally laugh out loud every time I see them moving around at 12 FPS and it's so gratifying to be constantly reminded to smoke weed every day during an otherwise boring run back into the melee after respawning.

From humble beginnings of Yellow Gibuses and Camera beards, to Green/Pink Paint as well as Elf ears to Googely Pyro eyes to full on Pony hats and bird heads. Also the most fun I've had in the new Halloween map is to use the Scout to hit and run with spells. Casting a stream of fireballs onto the 'cart' before dissapearing to get another spell is a shitton of fun. If you're quick enough you can also get two powerful spells from that magical bridge.

Then again, given that the map keeps crashing it may not be all that well put together. Try it and see. Regardless you can still build nearby, and can probably at the very least get your sentry to knock folks off.

Yes it's nobuild. There's also a ghost that sits on the shelf whenever the bridge is down, so you can't stay there and snipe people because you'll be stuck in the frightened animation.

Funnily enough you can actually cast spells while in the frightened animation. Also if you stay up there you'll have Huntsman snipers desperately trying to hit you.

Ten seconds later after I try running back and forth through it to no avail swinging my powerjack, a scout from our team runs through me and gets the gift  I promised myself I wouldn't get mad at videogames but that right there is bullshit. EDIT: vvv I somehow missed that detail It does make it better, but with the long developed instinct to just mash K to get rid of message spam being able to see gifts not meant for you just makes it more confusing.It was helltower. But if I'm NOT supposed to see presents meant for other people, then I don't know what the gently caress. Does anyone else have these two hat problems? Pyro's Bubble Pipe has the "on fire" texture covering the bottom rim at all times, and Demoman's Whiskey Bib has transparent backsides on the cuffs in-game again after they fixed it (though oddly, not in the loadout menu). Hat problems are obviously the least of the concerns here, but I just wanted to know if this was just an issue only I was having.
