It got streamed and leaked beforehand... CD sales arent exactly a good measure of success for actual hip hop artists whose consumer base isn't plebs and 14 year old girls that still buy cds.

to me the pusha mixtape was boring and samey, pusha t by numbers, it left me with zero anticipation for the album. but on the album he actually expanded his sound a little bit and did songs i thought he would sound terrible on. those ended up being my favourite songs (the kelly + dream features)
