Well honestly, it's not been a long time frame. The dead may just get weathered away by the elements as they continue to rot. It'd be a world without Zombies, because they'd just waste away. Edit: As for Walking Dead ending.. I don't see this ending until at least 3 to 4 more seasons. The ratings are to good.

What a good episode and show. I just feel like the governor ruins it all by being an over the top video game villain. Its like him being a bad character forced all those around him to act like bad characters. He decapitates a dude after very specifically talking about how peaceful he is, and everyone is like "Welp, better drive a tank into the place now". How silly. The only one acting like a real human being was pig-tail girl.

It's been two years, most of the zombies should be picked apart or decayed to the point of not moving, other than those who die within survivor groups. I don't recall him ever saying that. However you can see a noticable change in the comic book once the series has started with repeats of previous characters and a just outright outrageous character currently that drives me crazy.

After Herschel's death speech and Bob's introduction into the group it was a pretty safe bet he was on borrowed time. Now the fun part comes when the only guy in the group with any bit of medical training tries to hack off bitten limbs in a drunken stupor.
