Obviously the numbers are important, but signing Golden Tate does give the Lions a bit more flexibility with their first round pick. It will be nice to have a second guy in the Offense who the Defense might have to cover.

But then they did manage to get him to sign, 31 mil 13.25 guaranteed it seems.
