I did a couple semesters at a community college for prereqs and poo poo, and had to wait in line to pay my fees and poo poo. Usual price was about $1600 a semester, and then fees. Since CT had a tuition waiver for vets (this was before post 9/11), my cost for all my stuff was like 100 bucks, after I reminded them I was a vet. The glares I got on the way out from people in the line behind me almost made enlisting worth it.

You guys are making me so excited for college

edit: Its going to be even better cause I got into an expensive private school with yellow ribbon.

Hmm... the school itself gave me a 12.5k private grant, if I filled out the form showing that my wife was already incurring more education expenses then our combined income wouldn't they already be making grant decisions based on me having zero money? Or should I dig into this more?

edit: In case it wasn't clear I filled out my FAFSA already, like two months ago
