Also the Big Bank doesn't have a huge amount of loot in it compared to other maps because its all cash and gold (unless you want to pick your way through a billion deposit boxes). On deathwish my team managed to take out every bag on the tables and still only walked away with 2.8 million.

A MasterForcer is an armoured ambulance that can fight its way in, get people up and cover their escape. Plan B in a neat package. The number of times I have salvaged a team can't be counted. That said, a good team has a wide variety of skills. Having everybody rolling in with one set of skills is like inbreeding, fosters weakness.

You weren't a jerk, but there's a difference between honest and willful ignorance on the pub spectrum. http://www.pd2skills.info/profile/v-100-1-7-1/#/profile/current-crab-2/ This is what I have so far and am planning to have both Aced Health and Ammo before I get basic Ironman, shotgun reload, and maybe some Aced ammo pouch. I'll also get basic ECM specialist for the armor speed since there's nothing wrong with going even faster in the thickest armor! But now I'll try out basic OVERKILL to maximize my already broken modded loco damage.

I think a good way way to do that one is speedily stealth the front including using the timelock glitch (just go up and use silenced guns to murder everything in the upper floors quickly), search for keycards while the timelock runs, then ECM-rush the back to open the vault without needing to bother with thermite or The Beast, then do a Bus Stop escape with just enough bags for the minimum.

You don't need to place points in a tier of skills to get the tier bonus. All you need is the tier UNLOCKED to get the bonus. So you need 18 (or 20 without infamy) points in the Ghost tree to get the tier bonus of "You gain +5 increased concealment. When wearing armor, your movement speed is 15% less affected." As for your build, I've never really agreed with spending points on multiple deployables. While is it cool to have that flexibility, you are also wasting the 4 (or 12 if you don't bring med bags) points on any given mission day. You have aced inspire, but are missing aced combat medic, what's that about? Aced Leadership is also a wonderful skill. You should also have aced Fast Hands in the Ghost tree long before you have Aced Cleaner. This is a bag throwing simulator after all.

I've managed to get a 37D 8A 22S 23C AK and a 29 C Loco and can run those with a Flak Jacket at 43 detection, it's fantastic for half-stealth missions, such as big bank. Which is a really goddamn fun map.Drewjitsu posted:
I don't THINK i'm going crazy, i think i'm really seeing something, but sometime after the sniperpack came out, Aced Iron man seemed to get a small nerf where it no longer stuns shields for as long by about a quarter second, which is about the time gap you need to actually get a shot in, making Aced Iron Man pretty questionable in its utility. There are a lot of awesome suggestions, and a lot of ones that probably describe the game more accurately, but this is truly in the spirit of these forums, especially if we can get a shot with four people with Kawaii masks, or a dude with a kawaii mask loco-launching a civilian, will probably make the most powerful impression (though maybe set them up for disappointment when they never get cute). That or the 4 bags on a cliff.

I don't know what it is, but the second half of big bank that makes me really aggressive. Normally I roll with a good mixture of audacity and cautiousness, but the second half of Big Bank, while waiting for The Beast to do its work, I tend to go completely apeshit on the cops. The best thing I can figure is that the first time I played it I got hit by Tazers in that section like a thousand times and it really started to annoy the hell out of me, but now it's every time I get back there, I start crowing for the blood of all SWATs.

Do Big Bank cameras work differently again to the others? At first I thought they worked like Framing Frame ones, where shooting them triggers the alarm, then I realised they don't if they haven't alerted beforehand. So now we have five possible setups, I think... 1. Camera can be shot after !, won't alarm. (Default) 2. Camera can't be shot after !, will alarm (Big Bank) 3. Camera can be shot as long as camera operator is down. (Standard Jewellry Store / Bank cameras / Framing Frame Day 1) 4. Camera can be shot, but will alarm if shot. (Framing Frame Day 3) 5. Camera cannot be damaged at all. (Deathwish Cameras, mostly)) Am I understanding that right?

So now we have five possible setups, I think... Cameras basically work on rule 3. They can be shot at any time and if there's still an operator then the nearest security guard will be called over to check them (the camera itself will not set off an alarm). Civilians are completely blind to the state of cameras. So in Big Bank you can safely kill all the cameras in an area as long as all guards in an area are dead (there's a set of lobby guards and a set of bank interior guards, they don't mix). Guards and police called in by a suspicious Gensec call operator can and will see broken cameras though. Thankfully the police that are called in do not have pagers.

FF cameras don't cause alerts unless spotted by guards. It's Big Oil 1 cameras that alert instantly, unless/until you kill the operator. To my knowledge once a camera has !, it's all over, for all maps. So that gives me 3 cameras: 1. Big Oil Cameras (the 'exception') 2. Normal Cameras 3. Titan Cameras
