I think Oduro will deceive every team in his ability as a consistent option up top when he inevitably plays for them.

Since this probably won't show up in the highlights, here's JackMac practicing his tumbling skills.

Also, this game was so much better when Portland was losing.

edit: Woot, Montreal levels as Stade Saputo turns into a giant slip-n-slide.

Wait, a lineup with Will Johnson and Diego Chara had no fouls? :psyduck:

Ultimately there were 5, but Montreal were unable to keep up with the ball so they operated the whole match in a massive benefit-of-doubt deficit that Portland came out looking like choirboys.

Montreal is incredibly bad. That loss puts them at 0.7 points per game after 20 games. At the rate they are going, they'll be lucky to hit 24 points by the end of the season.

Which somehow isn't even close to what DC "did" last year.

Frank Klopas somehow got even worse after being fired by Chicago.

Based on comments from players after he left, it seems like he was the kind of coach that just kind of put out a lineup and let the guys figure the tactics out. That doesn't seem to cut it in MLS anymore.

On the contrary, I think you'll find that former Fire hero Floyd Franks is having a good season in the NASL.

I'm not a big fan of Klopas, but he's not the main problem here. With 3 coaches in 3 years and this being our worst season yet, you'd think sporting director Nick De Santis' rear end would be on the line. Sadly, he's Joey Saputo's son-in-law.

Holy crap I'm excited for this game. Other than Marshall, both teams look strong. If they both come to play, it should be a good night.

Well yeah, he should've held on to it, but Donovan was so far ahead of everybody; nobody was even thinking to cover a rebound shot.
