It really has no interesting gameplay and the character designs are the biggest strength to the game. The levels are small and everything is way overpriced for what you get. I thought it would be like a more colorful diablo or dungeon crawler but it's lacking in many areas and none of the stages are even all that good looking or even that interesting.

It's a lot of fun if you've got a kid lying around somewhere you can enjoy it with, but otherwise it's probably not justifiable. Basically Babby's First Gauntlet Legends, but with like a hundred playable dudes you have pay  each for. At the very least, they do a good job giving each character some unique gimmick or play style.

i've only played giants but it is legit fun. there is good complexity in the game if you seek it out and it gets pretty fuckin real on the higher difficulties paying $10 or whatever for each new character is bullshit and i will never defend that fact
