Uh, just slot in Scherzer in the rotation and let Ruf be the 1B/OF off the bench. I am not starting him over GoldSchmidt, but if he's a better OF than one of my starters go ahead and plug him in.

Jason Kipnis is in the NL top-10 for every category except HR, K, BB, and ISO. He just needs 2 more HR to get in the top 10.
Mike Trout is in the NL top-10 for every category except 2B, 3B, SB, and K. He just needs 1 more SB to get in the top 10.

Alex Gordon and Salvi Perez kick rear end too.

I don't think I have anyone else on my team that picks up a bat. We just keep giving those guys mustaches or wigs and change uniforms to get more ABs.
