Hmm, yes pull Totti and put Gervinho up front, that'll do it.

Roma must not want to risk injuring Destro or Borriello (ha) so that they can still sell them over the weekend.

It was always going to be tough without Cuadrado, and that was a uncharacteristically anonymous game from Valero. I also think you guys might need to buy a striker in the next couple of days given Rossi's constant worries and Gomez's form today.

In a :3: moment, Taddei was in the curva sud tonight.

when I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child - but now I am a man.
Viola were terrible apart from like five minutes in the second half. Mostly due to Cuadrado and Rossi missing I guess, but still. Gervinho could've scored three.

Cacati in mano e pigliati a schiaffi!

I doubt we will, especially since Babacar is there. But yeah, Valero didn't seem himself.

It wasn't at all the Viola all preseason long I had been watching. I think it's nerves more than anything really. We went in not spending a whole lot this transfer window while Roma, Inter, and Juve spent some good money, or at least got some good players. But I think it's a good example of how bad we need Cuadrado and someone that can replace him needs to be lined up before we sell him.

Hopefully Rossi stops getting hurt, and Gomez wakes up. That is a super good attacking duo, and it's a goddamn shame no one has seen it in action much.

I was wondering the same thing, she was cute.

I'm glad big Gerv got his goal, and also that it only took 100000 chances. Roma dont look unbeatable by any means, though.

Fiorentina were bad, bad, bad. I'm assuming season beginning nerves, but I expected much better from them. Gomez wasn't involved enough and he and Babacar weren't really working well together. They looked better when Ilicic and Joaquin came out though.

There were quite a lot of shots of him in the broadcast, he looked very happy on the first goal. I like it when recently retired players become fans like everyone else :)

Didn't realize this yesterday but Conte announced the squad for the friendly against The Netherlands and the qualifier against Norway next week:

portieri: Buffon, Padelli, Perin e Sirigu;
difensori: Astori, Bonucci, Chiellini, De Sciglio, Paletta e Ranocchia;
centrocampisti: Candreva, Darmian, De Rossi, Florenzi, Giaccherini, Maggio, Marchisio, Parolo, Pasqual, Poli, Verratti;
attaccanti: Destro, El Shaarawy, Giovinco, Immobile, Osvaldo e Zaza

Big absences: Balotelli, Pirlo, Cerci

I don't know how Paletta and Maggio got in there, and also why Maggio and Darmian are listed as midfielders. No Cerci is a little weird but since he hasn't played in a while it's understandable. No Balo isn't surprising, same with Pirlo. Osvaldo and Giovinco being in there over Berardi kind of smacks of old Juve favoritism in my opinion.
