I've actually held the real Big Gold before, in the heyday of WCW at an autograph signing when Goldberg was champ, and yeah, that sounds about right.

Uh so they had Reigns beat Rollins 100% clean to build to a PPV rematch the same week? Yeah Ambrose is definitely returning to turn heel.

It'd be nice if Ambrose rose above the binary face/heel dynamic and ended up in 'nutjob' territory, kind of like Austin or Loose Cannon Pillman. I'd enjoy watching some three way matches from now to the Rumble between the three Shield dudes. There's already a bit of flimsy reasoning there: Dean can be mad that Reigns went back on his promise to leave Rollins to him, so now they all fight.

I haven't seen Raw yet but I'm assuming that Ambrose just runs in and beats the poo poo out of Rollins on Sunday so they wanted Reigns to have a clean win before the DQ finish at the PPV.

I will only tune in on sunday for Cena/Brock since there is no other match which would really interest me atm. I can only hope that they will surprise us, maybe make Cena look strong all match long and then lose due to Heyman shenanigans. Although that would also be terrible, since it would make "the beast " look weak. They really maneuvered themselves into a corner here. Brock is not a fighting champ who will show up for every Raw and those house shows. On the other hand he is the only guy with the necessary looks and background to be considered a notch above the rest. If this becomes his 2nd loss then I really don't understand what they are trying to do here.

I'm trying to think via the big picture, Brock holding the title to Mania and then dropping it to Reigns could be the big defining moment that could establish Reigns as the next guy. An alternative to that would be Cena holding the title to Mania and doing a passing of the torch with Reigns, could work but that would mean spending Brock on Cena. The third option I see that could tie into Rollins losing on RAW is the standard MitB booking and that Rollins' is cashing in on Sunday (most likely on Cena). Booking mentality that he could lose clean to Reigns twice in the space of a week, but that won't matter since he works away that night with the gold. If that happens you've got both Cena/Ambrose to feud with Rollins.

I mean Cena is 37 and in killer shape, the man is obviously a genetic freak who can still be the top dog of the company for a few more years. Brock is also 37 and currently looks far better than when he came back to WWE.

See, this is why I sincerely care more about the Divas now than anything the guys are doing. God helps us if, at any point in the next year, we have to sit through Cena/Orton MMXVI. And I don't know how I will react—or if I'll be able to react at all, given the absolute apathy it will generate—when Cena overtakes Flair's belt record, which in all likelihood will be sometime in the next 12 months. gently caress that Raw, gently caress the ham-fisted nature of Reigns' push, gently caress where all this is going unless they uncharacteristically have Lesnar squash Cena for a second time.
