This isn't even a case of little money being put into the team, rather, a mismanagement of the money. As long as Milan is effectively guided by two conflicting individuals, it's not going to improve. Remember a few years ago when we had huge international names and you could recognize them and immediately see them on the field? While nowadays you have Bonera and Mexes. Their mere presence in Milan is worthy at least one Ancelotti raised eyebrow on a scale that goes from zero to one Ancelotti raised eyebrows. It's a lot of eyebrows, in other words.

Well considering literally no money went in to the team this summer except for whatever paltry loan fees we're paying Chelsea, you can say it's also a lack of money. I just cant' understand how we've gone through two managers now that didn't think signing a top class defender was a priority. Imagine if we still had Thiago Silva. We'd have won that game, and the Parma game would've been an absolute demolishment. How close were we to signing Ogbonna over what Im sure was 100 Euros less than what Juve paid? How about putting Albertazzi in, who had a pretty good season with Hellas? Or what about that guy who wanted to play for Milan so bad he paid the remaining pittance that Galliani was too cheap to send to Valencia? You know, the guy that held loving Juventus to a single goal. I just don't understand it. How is Bonera playing in central defense when he has proven time and again that he is a huge liability and actively contributes to the opposition scoring goals? And why is Inzaghi, who has otherwise shown to be a decent manager, so keen on picking him?

Abate had been putting in poo poo crosses for a decade practically and all of a sudden he's got one good assist a game.

Honda always felt like he was underperforming last year, it's nice to see him on a tear even if he has to do it playing with Milan.

Ooops Sarri. You think those things but you don't say them, especially on live tv... "Refs have trouble calling fouls against striped jerseys in Italy..."

Yes, I love it when coaches say things like these; earlier this year in the US a hockey coach got in big trouble when suggesting that Montreal got more penalties in their favor because of the number of NHL referees that are from Quebec and how they shared "common interests, languages and bonds" with Montreal players/coaches.

They're playing "Amala" before Inter-Atalanta, which gives me a bit of hope that Curva Nord did the best thing since their protest over the Guarin-Vucinic swap and rejected that horrible rockabilly abortion.
