gits um, no. they did gently caress this up. this one says she was made cyborg as a loving fetus. why does batou ask "why did you choose a female body"? also the lesbianism in SAC circumstantially supported the sex change story line. if that's the case this show lost a trans character but gained a female one. which might be ok, since there's a certain misogynist message in the strong female character really being a man. but maybe I just misunderstood or the translation was off.

Bug eating trip report: I really had no problem eating the hard exoskeleton insects. Crickets and grasshoppers? Just weird looking shrimp. The mealworms were only slightly more difficult, but texture and size wise, shoestring fries. The most difficult to get to were the grubs and larva because goddamn look at that fat thumb sized fucker. But you're supposed to cook them by slicing them so their fat leaks out and they cook in their own lard. That's practically bacon.
