Is tonight the greatest moment in Dominick Cruz's life?

No.

The greatest moment in my life was realizing that I didn't need a belt to be happy.

Jose Aldo has been fighting the best dudes for a really long time and basically only Frankie has made it interesting.

and Frankie has got a little better since then. I hope the Swanson win is convincing enough to give him another crack after McGregor gets his chance.

Or Aldo moves up to 155, whatever happens. But Aldo/Frankie II is the only rematch I care about.

All this talk about using footwork to confuse Aldo is funny considering he has some of the best footwork in this sport.

i want to see aldo v edgar again but I also want to see aldo move up more than anything. I thought Edgar had a case for winning that fight, but I can't picture him doing drastically better so I gotta assume Jose would take it again. Anyway if Aldo clears out then Edgar can be champ and we can see him fight Lamas and MEndes or whoever, which would be cool.

He is getting pretty old. I think we'll see him suffer a heartbreaking knockout loss in the not so far future.

Yeah, hominick hit him a lot and he gassed, and in the finaly round hominick got on top and took it to him the entire time with clean punches to the head. I think that Frank Edgar came close to outworking him down the stretch. Stun Gun kept the fight very competitive just through sheer pace and size. Florian was competitive with him, winning a round or two iirc. And I give Faber a lot of credit in his first showdown with Aldo.

I don't think Edgar would do drastically better or anything but that was his first bout at 145, fighting Aldo, after already losing two disappointing fights to Benson Henderson which probably sucked the life out of him.

I know the BJ Penn fight was weeeeird but Frankie was flawless in that fight and I think a rematch with Aldo in the near future would be even closer than the last one. Aldo could still win it and I wouldn't be surprised
