I can't bring myself to hate georgia tech. Like half the football team lives in my apartment complex. While I don't particularly enjoy them having massive loud parties until the wee hours of the morning on a weekday and their prolific weed consumption, every one of them that I've met has been super cool. They've given me some helpful workout tips and are nice to my dog even though she goes apeshit any time she's near a large black person. I'm going to allocate my hate to Ohio state and FSU because it's the right thing to do.

Yeah, pretty much all of the human being GT fans are all cool, so I have nothing against them. The redneck GT superfans are intolerable, though. Just as the redneck Georgia superfans are to GT, I'm sure.

Alabama is never good straight out of the gate. I'd rather play them towards the end of the year when we're full steam ahead for another National Championship. And you're right FSU is the villain this season. That reminds me, if Florida pulls off the upset, I will not hate on Florida for a full year.

Everyone was pretty pissed the night we got there with how long we were all cramped on the buses, and the poo poo with the 3rd bus breaking down. Of course somehow the 4th bus that was carrying equipment people, trainers, and assorted support staff, passed the player buses while they were on the side of the road THEN TOOK EVEN LONGER TO GET THERE. If you were on bus 4 it took ELEVEN HOURS. Then spirits picked up the next day because we all assumed we were still going to get it in, then rumblings started to happen during dinner because coaches were checking their phones which doesn't really happen at meals like that. Then at the team meeting we get told it's been delayed and that we'll have to stay in Kent for Thanksgiving because our next game had to be delayed as well. Assorted get togethers and shenanigans happened that night with the staff but I'll save that for a later date. It was a good time. Everyone was doing kinda okay during Thursday but once the game actually got cancelled everyone was loving livid because we realized we had moved the Akron game to Friday from Tuesday for a really lovely reason and nobody gets to go home for Thanksgiving.

Get a picture with you and the academic adviser and her computer which is open to her emailing furious professors. Get a specially marked band-aid from the training staff, they made you do a task like sing a song, or do pushups or something. Find the radio guy and get a picture (like 2 players on all the team knew what he looked like so this was funny) Get a picture with Olaf from Frozen (the place was all dressed up for this charity Christmas event) Take a picture with someone from the hotel staff (some were greatly amused, others really confused)

That was an exceptionally annoying game in the midst of an exceptionally annoying season but it at least kicked off a nearly 4 year stretch of ISU failing to score a TD against Iowa, which they were so desperate to end that they left all their starters in to eek out a garbage time TD against our fourth stringers in 2010.
