All these glitch jumps with 1 health. Ah, Source engine, always welcome at speedrun marathons.

Yeah, having almost zero experience with the speedrun community beyond these events, I still find myself very impressed with some of the runner's personalities. To the point where I begin to remember who they are, year-to-year, even though I really don't keep up with any of this stuff. This guy's a keeper.

White Forest or whatever it's called is a pretty long area I think, and indoors so it's probably marginally harder to fly over entire maps with a single clever jump.

I love how he's just enjoying himself. It's such a difference from the Opposing Force run.

There are some really good runs of HL and HL2 with commentary somewhere-- HL/HL2 done quick.

My very first GamesDoneQuick event, I think was a Summer event, and SpikeVegeta played Dokney Kong Country returns. I was hooked. The speedruns are usually technically impressive, for sure, but the runner's personalities are what hooked me.

It should be noted that the amount on the Humble Bundle website (currently $436,896.70) is almost certainly the entire purchase amount and not just the PCF contribution. So the total is probably closer to $800k.
