You know those gifs of octopus squeezing through really small holes? Well that's because they're bodies are incredibly flexible. They're so malleable that an octopus can squeeze through any gap that isn't smaller than its beak, the only part of their body that is too hard to mold. They're incredibly smart for invertebrates and I love them, but I don't think eating them is any more amoral than eating other relatively intelligent animals. If I didn't eat octopus I'd probably have to stop eating pork too. Eating any animal alive is really hosed up though.
