for folks to enjoy. It's a rare job that lets you bring pleasure to so many people's lives.

Back to the subject - if you guys feel angry or betrayed, it would be misdirected to place that at the feet of the new company. They didn't bring in new staff to replace us, or say we did a
lovely job and treat us poorly - they looked at the bottom line and the numbers just didn't line up. The new layout lines up now, and the goal is that DB can be successful and move on from
this and eventually expand again. Saying "I'm cancelling my sub" or "I'm never buying another thing in PS2" isn't the right tactic, as much as the former Devs appreciate the intent of your
support. If you want to make a positive impact, then keep doing what you're doing - if you like the game, play it. Give feedback. Get your friends to play. Buy what you want to, and what you
feel gives you value. If you aren't happy, tell DB through the means you do now, social media and /bug reports. The game will grow or shrink depending on how you guys act, which is how it should
be. If you make a statement on principal for the dearly departed devs, you will be hurting the remaining staff who have worked just as hard to make you guys a game you like to play. They may not
be all names you know, but trust me, they put their blood, sweat, and tears into this.

TL;DR - CN didn't do this, it was something that had to be done. CN is providing a chance for the games you love to continue going

What do they get stuck on? I remember back in the day Trak was a nightmare of giant hitboxes and finicky positioning, but most of VP consisted of mobs with like no mechanics outside of Druushk and Nexona and that one rear end in a top hat with the electric floor.

Woo, so I hit 100 last night and wrapped up the dino mount quest line and am now wondering what to do. When I quit 100 plat was a pretty obscene amount of money so after all that questing, etc. I only have around 2.5k to spend and am wondering what the best bang for my buck would be.

Right now I have 24 of my spells Master or better and the rest are Expert so I'm pretty set in that department for the moment and could use gear/adornment advice.

I have one 4/4 yellow malice piece of gear from killing overland mobs but I can't see myself devoting too much time to that method of farming given the competition. This morning I also ran through the pirate advanced solo zone without any problems and got some gear from two quests and a few adorns, but it seems like just going for mastercrafted is a much faster way to get out of the yellow tier and into blue.

1) Would I be correct in thinking that I should use my money to get Mastercrafted gear? If so, which pieces are highest priority (I'm thinking resist jewelry and chest/legs for stamina)?

2) With my resists between 110k - 114k, and my HP with food/drink going 482k, what group dungeons could I realistically do?

The only times the portals don't 'open' for me is if I am in raid-quality graphics (e.g. everything is minimum) and they're opening but they don't render.

Okay, starting with Jewelry:

Xiocite wrists, tourmaline ring and cadmium stud are the best pieces. But if this is your first/only 100, all of the jewelry is valuable anyway because you have no hand-me-downs. I hope you had a crafter friend make you the stuff for just the rares+fuel, because on AB at least, you can buy the rares+fuel for half the price of a finished ring.

I generally think buying MC armor is a bad idea unless you have a few slots you can think ahead toward and know you don't need to reforge it, because you can't reforge MC/HC gear.

Replace your cloak with a Doublecast/skills or Doublecast/cb/pot cloak. I suggest skills. It's the 'terrus' cloak.

You kind of hosed yourself over on Reuse. All you can do now is bite the bullet and reforge as much reuse off elsewhere. Your chest and pants are 106% reuse on their own. Reforge as much reuse into ability mod as you can. You want around 45,000 to 50,000 ab mod.

Put a doublecast purple adorn in your shoulders. These are vendor-only in Phantom Seas. The rest are probably going to be Power. Older Power adorns from ToV for etyma are acceptable fillers too, just not long-term solutions.

If you like pvp, get a pvp neck. They're great and perfectly fine for pve.

I see you have a few max hp pieces. That's good. Two +% hp pieces are great for newer players. Later on, if you start raiding, you might drop them. Depends on taste, really.

Ability mod adorns are really poor returns. I know these are free since they're electrified, but kick 'em out. Put resists (even cheap ones) on the 6 resist slots for now, and you can swap them out for other things if you get a lot of gear down the line. I'd normally recommend a few spots for Reuse adorns but... Well, you've got too much to reforge out of as it is. It's generally better to adorn cast speed or reuse and reforge it into other stats.

Get rid of some recovery, you have too much.

War Runes are expensive and I'd help you get some but wrong server RIP.

Awesome, I did sell a few duplicate masters recently so I splurged and bought some mastercrafted stuff to bring my resists over 130k and my HP w/ food/drink to 581k (the eq2u profile is up to date I think) but am holding off on any more until I hear what ya think.

Oh and thank you for the stat cap write-up in the OP, I spent a while combing through mostly out of date information trying to figure out what current caps are (especially now a mage's ranged weapon does appreciable damage, what a surprise that was to find out). Then I happened to remember a part of the OP mentioning stats and there it all was!

I kept wondering why I'd get cloth armor rewards with DPS and Attack Speed stats and initially just wrote it off as auto-vendor loot :cry:
