Taste's ability is "give a PR to someone, take control of their vote if they break it". That he chose to use it in a pro-town way on this day isn't really relevant to his alignment, especially given that from the math about scum being able to win in two days, we know they have to have either additional kills or ways to gently caress with/steal town's votes.
