70 is not really THAT old of an age for a director though, is it? People like Scorsese, Spielberg and Malick are all still doing projects as big as ever. Woody Allen is nearly 80 and is still cranking out a movie a year.

I think the delay is more of a logistical thing. They say they have all the S3 scripts ready but that contracts are taking a while. I'm sure the script might have called for a few actors who will be a bit stingy about contracts. I mean, maybe Michael Ontkean is not up for it anymore, or something. We haven't heard anything directly from him. That would put a stick in the wheel.

They could be doing re-writes to exclude people who just said "No" to it. As much as we'd love everyone to come back, it's been a long time, and maybe people don't want to go back to it. At least the time between will be a good excuse for why someone isn't still in town.
